ok next time you are flying into chicago look out the window and i garuentee that while you are awaiting to land you wil fly over the city then the lake then the northern sububrs of chicago before landing THOSE ARE NOT UFOS nor are they CHINESE LANTERNS

ok im probably wrong about homeland security seeing as how i dont do much with them plus i dont really care what your father does and plus you might want to get your facts streight seeing as how the army hasn't had pilots (short of helio pilots) since September of 1947 when the Air Force was created AND the nearest Army Reserve bases (i dont know where your father lives) all of them are infantry, artilary, or motor transport

His reserves unit is in Boca Raton Florida, he's flown Blackhawks for the Army. Are you really saying that the army doesn't have fixed wing aircraft, let alone pilots for them? They do, and some are used for signals intelligence.

My father is now in the army reserves as a pilot while keeping a job for homeland security flying as a pilot (fixed wing aircraft, and blackhawk helicopter) under their customs and border patrol division.
@fireutility21 You'e right about not having strobes on upon landing because of possible interference with night vision, however they need a beacon display that flashes. Even so, it is a visible pattern.

A guy that works with our news station was saying that it's probably just a star or a planet. But the guy who recorded and submitted the video claimed that the UFO would move around very fast, faster than an airplane. He said it was like tapping on a fish tank and the fish (or UFO) would quickly dart away. And that's pretty fast considering...

One night at lake Michigan I saw three lights like this in a triangle not moving at all just calmly pulsing like these in unison until it disappeared in an instant. I noticed the lights come on one at a time.
The same night at around 10pm we saw something similar in the sky. We live in North Aurora, IL! It's very similar to what you taped! We only saw one. It was flickering & changing shape & color as it flickered. It moved straight west, arc north & disappear, and then returned to travel the same path. It flickered from bright white to an orangish-red color. An article will be in the Kane County Chronicle on Tuesday!

@neuraltap For starters, they are not lanterns. Well, first of all, i live near an airport so i know the differents between a airplane and a helicopter is.
So i was the first one to see it, it was flying like a helicopter at this time. (left to right) but it was solid blue.
i told everyone to look, but they missed it. But it came back, and it hovered up and down, left and right. lastly, most of the times it would travel downwards, it would turn yellow. weird.

It was hanging around a radio tower in a place called 'delehey', melbourne. this radio tower consist of about 5 red lights and the top light flashes.
i don't think that because i live near an airport that is the reason i saw it. It was because i was looking at the tower at the time.
@MMKK8908 Want to know something interesting? There are some ancient ruins on the bottom surface of Lake Michigan. I saw some sonar screens and there's this particular object that appears to be perfectly round and has some fine patterns. Google up stonehenge in Lake Michigan

one other giveaway that they might be planes, is that they are all following the same 'path' planes use vor vectors radio signals that go out in 360 directions and makes sense they might be all following one, cause probably going to the same other layover airport, or there are noise abatement rules that they have to avoid flying over a certain part of your city, or could be a restricted fly zone that they're trying to avoid too
saw your vid on mufon, and then on here, I would with 90 percent probability that they are planes, at first I didn't think they were cause they look too low and too close together, *but, in looking on google maps there are about 3 or 4 airports on the other side of the lake, planes can legally fly low over the water, which would make sense that they'd be taking off that way to save gas on take off, they're only starting to increase they're altitude as they are getting to your shoreline

@justeroniehh I'm not one to jump to the immediate conclusion that aliens are a part of this activity; however, I'm willing to figure this truth out with reasonable evidence. I'm a firm believer that our government has some pretty neat aircraft we don't know about. Take, for example, the secret stealth helicopter that crashed during the operation to kill Bin Laden. That thing has a crazy tail rotor, and by that I mean, the design of it is just perfect!

It's airplanes lining up to land at O'Hare or Midway. If you stand at North Avenue Beach you can see plane after plane in order heading to O'Hare.
