  • say Wade was grabbed or intentionally fouled when there's a foul to give at end of the qtr... then he heaves up a behind the back shot that misses the whole backboard.. he won't be charged for a FGA, unless it goes of course.

  • of course this is a bogus foul but there were so many against the Heat as well, its on NBA TV all the time so many bad calls in the 1st 2 games in favor of the Mavs!! this is not why they lost !!!! They lost because Miami was far better, they shot a higher % from the field and 3 pt, more steals, less turnovers, more rebounds, offensive rebounds, more blocks, more assists, more points, more fg's. they dominated the series, period. anyone who watched knows this.

  • @nickrock23 Bullshit. Dallas outplayed Miami in Games 1, 2, 3, and 5. That was enough for the Mavs to win the series. Dwyane Wade shot 97 freethrows in the 2006 finals. Shaq shot 93 Freethrows in the 2000 Finals, the only reason why Shaq shot that many FT's was because of the Pacers INTENTIONALLY fouling him. Wade shot more freethrows in 2006 than a player who was intentionally being fouled on nearly every play in multiple games of a series. 2006 was rigged, Mavs should be 2 time Champs.

  • @Truegenius23 Wade was intentionally fouled a few times, and the Mavs intentionally fouled shaq more than 20 times during the series, most non-shooting fouls to put the Heat into the bonus. Once the heat were in the bonus, Riley took out Shaq and Wade drew fouls. So did Posey and everyone else. It is not anyone's fault besides Avery for using Hack a Shaq with 9 minutes left in the quarter. It gave the Heat so many free throws that would have been team fouls.

  • Mavs outplayed Miami in Game 5? Yeah right, they shot 5-19 from 3 point and got away with a dozen fouls going for offensive rebounds. They brought in Diop to foul Shaq and the dude fouled out in like 2 minutes. Then they had to go with Dampier most of the game and OT, good look with that matchup. Shaq went 2 for 12 from the line, it should have been a blowout you are insane.

  • @nickrock23 Are you insane? In Game 5, Mavs shot 45% from the field and held a 42-33 Rebounding edge over the Heat. While Dwyane Wade on the other hand shot 25 Ft's by himself, while the entire Mavs team shot 25 Ft's. How is it possible that one man can shoot as many FT's an entire team? That series is a disgrace to the entire league. If you outshoot and outrebound your opponent you should be able to get the win, but the refs made sure the Heat won.

  • @Truegenius23 How is it possible? Watch the game again! Wade played 50 minutes, and Avery used Hack-a-Shaq with 9 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, 5 min left in the 4th, AND in OT . That resulted in at 10 FT's the heat shouldn't have had in the 3rd qtr alone. The Mavs committed 38 fouls, I think the Heat committed 27 and 12 Mavs fouls were intentional. So that means if they never hacked shaq, Mavs actually got more calls. Just watch the game you will see how many fouls were intentional!!!

  • @Truegenius23 Heat also shot 45% rocket scientist and shot 41% from 3, while Mavs shot 26% from 3. Heat also committed less turnovers, had 4 more steals, more assists. you are crazy, No one could defend Wade without fouling, look at 82games, any site that scrutinized every call, the only questionable call was the last one on Dirk, and everyone on every sports show said Dirk fouled him. He was moving, look at replay. Where are the phantom calls from GAME 5??? show me... they don't exist

  • @Truegenius23 watch?v=cyKPUfrpjaU go and watch it and let me know where the BS fouls were. Every foul on Wade was correct. All 12 of them. That's 2.4 fouls on wade/quarter and overtime.

  • @nickrock23 You can call the game loose, you can call the game tight. But you can't call one team loose and the other one tight, which is what the '06 finals were. Every little gentle touch or whiff of air on Wade was a foul on one side, while all the groping and shoving by Shaq, Mourning, and Haslem was lauded as "physical". Bill Simmons called it: if the Heat benefit from BOTH styles of officiating, they will get "two, possibly three" games swung in their favor, and goddammit, he was right.

  • @nickrock23 The most infuriating thing about that whole series was that it was the one that gave Nowitzki his soft reputation. But if he was getting the same calls Wade was getting, he would have had 35ppg on 20+ FTAs too. Likewise, if Wade wasn't getting the calls, he would have scored 20ppg on 40% shooting like Dirk did. One of those has to give if you want consistent officiating.

  • @shadyparadox Since a player is charged with a FG atttempt even if he gets fouled and misses, your logic doesn't stand up. Wade made a ton of shots. Dirk wasn't playing good, he didn't play well in this years finals either. What Wade did in the '11 Finals was unprecedented, just look at the numbers and that's without getting any calls. As far as Simmons, he admits he's always hated the Heat so he's full of it. Heat were better in 06, Mavs were better in '11, that's all.

  • @nickrock23 Umm... your first sentence is wrong. Also, Wade choked away Game 4 and faked an injury in Game 5.

  • @shadyparadox look at the #'s and compare them to any finals series. My first sentence is correct , it's not like baseball where if you bunt a guy over there is no AB charged.. A miss is a miss. When a player makes a shot when fouled, a FGA is also charged. Next time you watch a game, keep track. Did Bill Simmons really say this?

  • @nickrock23 OK, I only need one example, so let's take Wade in Game 6. The box score says he was 6-16 from the field. You can find his ten misses throughout the play-by-play synopsis, but he "missed" an additional shot with 8:57 to play in the second quarter when Mahinmi fouled him. This shot, as well as a couple other misses on fouls, were not counted as FGAs.

    sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/060608

    Question 8.

  • @shadyparadox it's up to the score keeper. if the foul is well before the shot, he might not count a crazy circus shot (unless it goes in). but if a player takes a shot and gets touched on his hand on the follow through and the ball is anywhere near the rim it's a FGA. you make it seem like any time a player is fouled it doesn't get counted, when that is not true.. there weren't that many uncredited FGA's to alter his or Dirks FG% more than a couple of % points.

  • Comment removed

  • @shadyparadox can't find ur last comment, but you wanted 1 example from a play-by-play of a shooting foul and a FGA occurring at the same time. 1 example would be if the shot went in.. 2nd example would be if shooter gets fouled on the follow through and the ball bounces off the rim. in that case the shooter is charged with a FGA. FIBA has the same rules. it's up to the scorekeeper if he wants to charge him. sometimes they charge players with a last second shot from past midcourt, sometimes not

  • @nickrock23 I removed my original comment and replaced it with one that has the word "missed".

What I'm saying is, find one example anywhere in an actual play-by-play of an NBA game in which a missed FGA and a shooting foul were charged at the same time. Tell me which game, when the foul was committed, who committed the foul, and who was charged with the missed FGA.

  • @shadyparadox i don't know how to show you. just watch a game and keep track, it happens a couple of times during every game. i've heard mike turico talk about it how sometimes he disagrees when a FGA is charged or not charged. either way it wouldn't have effected anyone's FG% much in this series.

  • @nickrock23 No, he's disputing whether or not the foul was a shooting foul, i.e. whether the fouled player should be awarded free throws.

    Here's an example of a play-by-play: tinyurl(.)com/3uej2x9

This page lists every play, including missed shots and shooting fouls, that occurred throughout the game. Notice whenever a shooting foul occurs, no missed shot is charged. Your challenge is to find one example, in this game or any other, where a missed shot and a shooting foul are listed together.

  • @shadyparadox I don't know why you and Simmons don't understand basic rules. Go to any game play by play. Let's take the March 22nd, 2011 Lakers-Suns 3OT game. Count how many FT's were missed. There were 7 total. The play by play lists all 7. Now look at shots missed. The play by play lists 112 missed shots, however both teams missed 122 combined. I can look at that play by play and know exactly where those missed shots are not listed, right before a free throw attempt. great game by the way.

  • @nickrock23 The discrepancy comes from blocked shots. These are certainly missed shots, but the entries do not contain the word "miss". There were 10 blocks in the Lakers/Suns game, and Lebron blocked one of Terry's shots at the end of the first quarter.

  • @shadyparadox By the way, the game you gave me a link for, the play-by-play misses a missed FG by Jason Terry which resulted in 2 of his free throws. Let me know if you and Simmons have any more crazy theories. Wade and LBJ weren't drawing any fouls in this series so it's a bad example and I still found one.

  • The Mavs out played Miami in game 3... but were robbed.. I guess the refs made Dirk miss that free throw with 9 seconds left to put the game into overtime.. he choked, stop blaming the refs you sound so crazy, please do yourself a favor, watch the series again and you will see the Mavs got outplayed and outcoached big time. Wade 14-26 42 points 11 rebounds 1 turnover. you got dominated

  • @nickrock23 Haha I like how you didn't mention the 18 Ft's Wade got in this game. Sure, it was Dirk's fault that he missed a crucial freethrow but it wasn't Dirk's fault that no one was allowed to touch Wade. Anyway, this is all water under the bridge. Mavs 2011 Champs over your frontrunning, ringchasing Miami Heat. Payback is a bitch, ain't it?

  • @Truegenius23 front running? I've been a heat fan since the 90's and we stunk for many years. Any Heat fan will tell you that the Mavs deserved it this year, because we don't complain like Mavs fans. Typical west team that place to the refs, and never say a word when the officiating goes their way like it did in 2011. The dispariity was pretty bad but I don't see anyone in Dallas complaining they got all the calls. You make it seem like 18 FT's is a lot when so many players have had more

  • @nickrock23

hey man, the hardaway/mourning/majerle years were pretty good...we just never got past the bulls...or the knicks after jordan left the bulls... haha

  • Who ever thought the rematch would happen, this time it should go 7 games.

    I could be wrong.

  • lol mavs are only team in tx without championship rings....sucks for butthurt lil D cocksuckers

  • IN A SEVEN GAME SERIES, THE BEST TEAM WINS!

  • @suciochanch 5 on 5 yes, 8 on 5 no

  • Oh yeah I know, this one, this is where Marquis reached in and smacked Wade in the right arm on the way up and was called for a foul. You should show the other angle that shows the contact.

  • @nickrock23 this angle gives a direct look at D-Whistle's right arm. If you can't see him get hit in his right arm in this video then he didn't get hit in his right arm.

  • @xxplanoxx wrong

  • @xxplanoxx D-whistle? ha.. the guy is shooting 6 FT's/game in the 2011 Finals and yet Mavs still lose. Mavs got called for 5 fouls the entire 2nd half of game 3 and still lost. For every 1 call I can give you 10 fouls on Shaq and Wade they never called. In game 3 and 4 they missed at least 10 fouls on lebron and wade. The bottom line is Avery used Hack-A-Shaq way too much, put the Heat in the bonus early in every quarter in the games Mavs lost. in 2006 Heat dominated every stat, accept the loss

  • @xxplanoxx Wade only got fouled 11 times this game. He played 50 minutes and had the ball on every possession. He shot 25 FT's total. Kobe, Shaq, Barkley, Jordan, Magic, Pierce, Duncan, and about 50 others shot more. Some of those have shot more than 20 FT's in one half. For the game, Heat committed 26 fouls. The Mavs, 38. 12 of those fouls were intentional. (4 Hack-A-Shaqs, 3 wrap ups (when they hug Shaq) and 5 on random players to get in bonus to induce Hack-A-Shaq). Where's the disparity???

  • @nickrock23 It's not about the number of fouls, jackass. The point is that Dwayne Wade was given these horrendously bad calls during the important moments of the game, essentially handing the trophy to the Heat. If you don't see that then you didn't watch the series. Simple as that.

  • @Cincodekyle Which foul are you talking about? This happened in the 2nd quarter! In Game 6, Wade was called for a foul on a Howard flop that would have sealed the game for Miami. 2 plays later, Mavs intentionally fouled Wade who missed 2 FT's, Haslem rebound which would have sealed the game and Posey was called for a travel when Posey never touched the ball. Mavericks got 2 extra chances at the most critical time of the series. Terry missed a 3 series over. Funny you don't complain about that.

  • @nickrock23 What? Is this before or after Dirk did a cartwheel in a leotard and got T'ed up? The critical call was in Game 5 during OT when the Mavs won the game, but the refs called a Phantom foul and put Wade on the line. Straight up bullshit. Pls go.

  • @Cincodekyle Not one person on any ESPN show, NBA TV show, radio show, local or nationally outside of Dallas thought Dirk didn't foul wade. He ran into him. If The Mavs didn't put the Heat in the bonus in OT with Hack-A-Shaq, that foul is a meaningless team foul and Miami has to inbounds the ball. Avery was outcoached so he resorted to Hack-A-Shaq and it backfired in every loss. Don't wanna put players on the line? Don't intentionally put them in the bonus so you can put Shaq at the line. PERIOD

  • @nickrock23 You sure? Check out this video to see the play again: youtube video# dTKxxsDuDas Every person who saw that play knew there is no fucking foul there. BRB stealing Game 5 from the more deserving team and breaking every Dallas fan's heart.

  • @nickrock23 Why are you trying to change the subject? IS THIS A FOUL OR NOT? Clearly it's not.

Go ahead and say you're wrong. It's ok, we already know. You'll feel better, really.

  • @xxplanoxx It's a foul. Marquis Daniels slaps Wade's left arm. It's visible on NBA-TV's HD telecast they show all the time. There is no debate. This was a meaningless, 2nd qtr foul in a game where refs misses plenty of calls on both sides that had no bearing on the outcome of the game.

  • @nickrock23 It was his right arm and I disproved that so now it's his left arm? You Heat fans are delusional.

And how can you say it had no bearing on the outcome of the game just because it happened in the 2nd quarter? Does nothing until the final seconds have any bearing on the outcome of the game? The scenario in the final seconds is created by everything that has happened leading up to that. Everything from tip off to the final horn has a bearing on the outcome.

  • @xxplanoxx that's like saying one free throw made or missed in the 1st quarter decided the outcome of a game. it's just not how it works.

  • @nickrock23 Ok, so things must start counting at some point in time then. Why don't you tell me when that is?

  • @xxplanoxx yeah like every expert analyst has been saying for 30 years, unless it happens on the very last play or in the final 1 or 2 possessions, 1 call usually won't affect the outcome. over the course of history in every sport a good team overcomes a bad call 99.9% of the time. the better team always wins. if the Heat lose this year, it won't be because they took less FT's and committed more fouls. It will be because Dallas was the better team.

  • @nickrock23 Why not just play the final 1 or 2 possessions if the rest of the game doesn't matter?

Your viewpoint just isn't logical. If a team wins by one and they had a buzzer beater at the half count that shouldn't have how can you say it didn't matter? If one team is far and away the better team then one bad call won't matter, but when teams are evenly matched just a few bad calls can cost a team the game.

By your logic games could be just a minute or two b/c the end is all that matters.

  • @xxplanoxx your logic is saying that if Avery didn't get called for a technical in the 2nd quarter, the Mavs would have won. Your game plan and shot selection is based on the current score, not what happened in the previous quarter.

Refcalls counted 14 missed fouls on the Mavs in Game 4 of the 2011 series. Does this mean the league is rigged? No, it means refs missed some calls and it didn't go the Heat's way that's all. The better team will always fight through the bad calls.

  • @nickrock23 What site are you reading? refcallsdcom doesn't say that AT ALL. " Wrong or missed ref calls that helped Dallas (resulted in 2 points)" "Wrong or missed ref calls that helped Miami (resulted in 10 points):*" "the number of points resulting from them has been revised from 10 to 12" That is from their website. Good try at mis-information, but you got busted.

  • @Nathan666 Game 3 idiot. Those are only points as a direct result of the play - If Dallas gets an extra possession on a loose ball foul and score, it is not counted, read the site.

"In the second video (below) are 13 wrong or missed calls that benefitted Dallas" bottom of page. They went from 14 to 12 to 13. Still a huge disparity.

Last night the charge call was BS, everyone on ESPN has said this, woulda put Heat up 1 with 1:30 left. Then Dirk took 5 steps (YES FIVE) on that layup

  • @nickrock23 "Refcalls counted 14 missed fouls on the Mavs in Game 4 of the 2011 series. Does this mean the league is rigged? No, it means refs missed some calls and it didn't go the Heat's way that's all. The better team will always fight through the bad calls. " Which is it, Gm 3 or Gm 4?

  • @Nathan666 In 2006 Finals, Heat were called for 146 fouls total. Every one of those were correct right? The Mavericks were called for 164 fouls, and all of those were wrong right? Well, except the 16 intentional fouls on Shaq of course, you will at least admit the 'Hack-A-Shaqs' were correct calls right? Congrats on your title, hopefully one day you will come to your senses and accept defeat not make excuses. Learn from Dirk and Terry, they did and it made them stronger.

  • Since it is your fav site, what did refcalls say about the charge? That the refs got it RIGHT...it was a CHARGE.

  • Comment removed

  • @Nathan666 Even with the calls, if the Mavs win the series, THEY ARE THE BETTER TEAM. there is no conspiracy, just unfortunate breaks that if the HEAT cannot fight through they don't deserve a ring. One team is always going to get the short end of the stick, officiating is never perfect. I won't be claiming a conspiracy because Marion jumped on Lebrons back and wasn't called for a foul! BAD CALLS HAPPEN! accept it

  • @nickrock23 There are bad calls, and then there is 06. 06 was blatant, deliberate, and stole the Mavs' championship away. It was soo bad that no matter how good the Mavs played, they weren't gonna have enough to win. 2011 isn't anywhere near that level, hence why the better team is 1 game away from winning it all. Both teams have shown the ability to overcome bad calls, because as bad as they might seem now, they are tame compared to the raping in 06.

  • @Nathan666 the better team always wins. This year it was the Mavericks. Congrats to the Mavs. They were better than the Heat. FT's and fouls had nothing to do with the outcome. Unfortunately you will never show any class and admit you got beat fair and square by a better team in 06. You still think the NBA is rigged, but only when you lose. When you win you earned it, right?

  • @nickrock23 With unbiased officiating, the Dallas Mavericks would have also won in 2006. I gave you irrefutable proof that the REFS took Game 5 from Dallas. There was no "Hack-A-Shaq" there. No foul at all. Miami down by 1 pt and the officials giving Miami points. The Dallas Mavericks were better than the Heat then and now, but they couldn't overcome the biased officiating. Open your eyes.

  • @Cincodekyle They used Hack-a-Shaq to get Miami in the bonus, so any non-shooting foul is now a shooting foul. That is not the refs fault. This year Mavs had 3 seven footers, and the Heat had none. Maybe that is why the Heat were called for twice as many fouls in the series? There is a bigger disparity this year than in 2006, yet no one is crying that the Heat were robbed. The lost, fair and square, just like the Mavs lost in 2006.

  • @Cincodekyle There is not one person outside of Dallas that thinks Dirk didn't foul Wade! He ran right into him, did not have position, his feet were moving and he committed a TEAM FOUL, a NON SHOOTING FOUL. HOWEVER, early in overtime, Avery used HACK A SHAQ to put Miami in the bonus, a mistake he admitted after the game. Google it and read the story. Not one person on ESPN or NBA TV thought it wasn't a foul.

  • @nickrock23 Well a T is one point, so it would have been tied. I guess you think if they didn't get that one point from the T it would have magically come from somewhere else? It isn't magic, something either happens or it doesn't. If it doesn't happen then they don't get the benefit of it.

The past shapes the future. The present would be different if the past was different. You can't tell me with a straight face that the present would be the same no matter what the past was, can you?

  • @xxplanoxx You obviously never played a sport in your life. If a team needs 3 to tie, the other team isn't going for a layup, hey are going for a 3 pointer. Teams adjust to the situation and play according to the score/situation. A team will play more conservatively with a big lead, and tighter on defense if it is close. I can't believe you don't understand this simple concept. If there was no technical foul on Avery, the Heat go for a different shot, how do you know how it would have worked out

  • @nickrock23 I understand they would go for a 3, but where is the guarantee that they make it? You think the score would have been the exact same without the T called? No, it would have been different.

If someone trips at the start of a race does it not matter since the end is all that counts? I feel like I'm arguing with a 4 yr old. How can you not understand the most simple of concepts?

And yes I've played plenty of sports throughout my life, both organized and pick up. All sports.

  • @xxplanoxx there is not one pro or analyst in the NBA who would agree with you. If you lose a game by 1 point no one is crying about a missed defensive 3 seconds call in the 1st quarter and saying 'we should have won if not for that missed defensive 3 seconds call!" Both teams were called for about 25 fouls/game. Chances are there were some missed calls on both sides. Do you think that all 146 Heat fouls in that series were correct, or just the Mavs calls they screwed up on? Answer that

  • @nickrock23 You have completely changed the argument. I was talking about the call in the video and you managed to hijack the topic. This video shows a really bad call, and there were lots of them in this game and the whole series.

Was this a foul or not? Don't change the topic. FOUL OR NOT?

You should not be allowed to vote or have children. Do our country a favor and always wear a condom.

  • @nickrock23 never ever argue with such Heat fans. Absolutely NO logic

  • ok so ya there were a few phantom calls in this series definitely, i mean i can call mad phantom calls against dallas too but the truth is most of wades phantoms were and 1's he even missed a few so to say dwade wasn't spectacular in this series is just stupid it's not like he wanted it to b easy i'm sure he woulda been fine if they didn't call the and 1's cuz he sitll made the shot which was what he was going for

  • The 2006 NBA finals turned me into the bitter sports fan I am today. I had just turned 18 and the consequences were never the same. Fuck David Stern. Fuck him in the dick. The same dick that Dwayne Wade has his lips wrapped around ever so tenderly.

  • @Cincodekyle I know man. The NBA is one step away from being put in the same aspect of the WWE. Its all fixed now.

  • The thing is, he still made the shot, a refs job isnt easy and from where he was standing, it could have looked as if he got bumped, but foul or not, he made it.

  • Damn, Wade's good!

  • Wow, I'm a heat fan but that was fucking wrong!

  • crawford called that foul, from the opposite side of where wade was, and was blocked by 8 players but made the call. FUCKING ridiculous

  • HE didn't even touch Wade lol

  • picking apart a dodgy call here an there is pretty pety. miami beat dallas 4 games in a row an miami deserved to win the championship. not wade's fault no mav players no how to defend him

  • @bradolock you blow on wade, and he gets fouled

  • poor mavs... It fuckin happened tonight too. and its the same ref!!!

  • it's all rigged so who cares. Watch football instead of David Stern reaping in the most profit he can.

  • Dude average 25 FT's per game??????????

  • Nah this a joke coming from a true Wade fan wow im starting to fall back on Wade a little man hard to say but this is crazy.

  • Lol at the Heat Fans STILL defending this call haha

  • This looks like a bad call. I blame the people running the NBA and not the refs here. They keep changing the rules to make Gazelle like players more attractive to the fans. It's time the NBA started to pay attention, we are sick of floppers and a game that run back and forward. Harden the fuck up and let these men play like men, not run around like kids crying about be touched.

Watch and see, there will be rule changes set in place to restrict B Griffin. the NBA won't like it to rough.

  • Wade never complains on fouls. And you've showed like 5 no-calls in the whole series, I'd like to see you officiate better when everything is that fast and in THE FUCKING FINALS.

  • @smashbr0s wheres the logic in that argument? do you really believe that players get faster when they play in the finals? do you really believe that the refs all of a sudden lose their ability to do their job because its the finals? come on. you've already admitted that the officials sucked. just admit it. this thing was fucking fixed.

  • I'm completely amazed by anyone who thinks this is a foul. HE DIDN'T FUCKING GET TOUCHED.

  • Shut the fuuuck up and stop complaining..

It is what it is.. You just have to deal with it..

Crybabies! LOL! It's life except it.. LOL!

  • Where Fixed Games Happen

  • LOL! only the people who DIDNT watch the game would think the series was rigged. I SAW THE GAME. Wade was

12-18 for the field. He was making SHOT after SHOT after SHOT. The mavs NEVER doulbled him. Its the MAVS fault.

  • There it is folks. God i wish there was some way to get our goddamn ring back.

  • NBA is the new WWE

  • ok this my favorite foul. all the other phantom calls are questionable but l love this 1. l don't think dude was even touched. but he moved his body like he got hit and got the call. WADE ain't doing nothing wrong really. he wouldn't of complained it there was no fout. u wanna see BAD FOULS. GO TO 2002 LA VS KINGS

  • Nice shot by wade but a stupid foul. U guys hate wade for this but he would tell ya its not a foul and he just goes with the refs decision like any1 else would to help his team.

  • shut the fuck up. he's exploiting the screwed up reffing

  • Wow. That ref should kill himself as many times as he can

  • if you think this is a foul then you are a dumbfuck

  • Sometimes I just want guys like Wade or Kobe (or guys that always bitching about fouls) to play against guys like Rodman, Isiah, Dumars, Jordan, Pippen, etc. etc. They'll get fucking abused.

  • Yeah, Wade fell to the court about every 25sec in those finals--without any help.

Can you imagine what the Bad Boys Pistons would have done to him? Or Oakley, Mason and the 90's Knicks?

  • JORDAN??

  • @wallaceX2jc when does wade complain on a foul call? thats right...

  • @animebrawler ALL THE TIME

  • @awesomeguy234564 Im probably they only person in america who watches every heat gaame that doesnt live in Florida. i THINK ID KNOW

  • @animebrawler i know 1849 other ppl who do and theyre all stupid so nah

  • @animebrawler ur right...he complains b4 each game when no one sees him

  • @wallaceX2jc Howard, Artest, Thefalosha, Battier, Kobe, Camby, Ben an Gerald Wallace, LeBron, Garnett, Smith, I can keep going these are some of the best defenders, you acting like there is no competition or somethin

  • Get some better quality videos and I might consider it. There's no sound, how can you even be sure these are even actual called fouls? The graininess you cant make out a foul or not.

  • ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

  • WOW, didn't see those finals, but if all calls were like that, I feel sorry for Mavs...

  • why did u cut out the part where he swiped his arm when u went to the tivo replay? did u realize u were wrong??

  • I noticed that too. I hate these glitchy videos. Is "phantom" referring to the shitty quality of these videos?

  • this one looks pretty bad but it's hard to tell with the poor quality.

keep in mind NBA players know that if you touch a shooter on the arm or hand while they're going up for a shot the refs will call a foul.

  • marquis reached with his left hand and swiped wade's right arm right as he pulled up

    good call ref

  • Are you fucking retarded or blind?

  • Haha, why don't you explain your point instead of bashing like a baby?

  • wow. That is actually pathetic.

  • Welcome to WWF Stern League. This is the reason why people dont watch Boxing either.

  • this one just might be the worse.

  • I know you gotta feel like a dumbass right about now for this comment lol

  • that was CRAZY

  • lol @ the 2 calls I clicked on being and 1's. Get over it, Dallas were choke artists, they lost. 5/6 "phantom" fouls in a 7 game series. dummies.

  • The points didn't lose the game for them. The fact that they knew what was going on practically killed their morale. They were frustrated and had no idea how they were supposed to guard Wade w/o getting the call.

Marquis put his hands up then saw it was Dwyane Wade and put them back down. Too late, the ref saw.

  • phantom call 6= game 5 wade to the basket

  • No contact whatsoever.

    Horrible call.

  • haha dallas got what they deserved any1 rmbr the dallas vs houston series in 06? that was complete bullshit look it up you will be laughing its that bad and im almost positive the refs rigged the game, not gonna lie the mavs did get cheated out of that championship no way the heat coulda beaten them fairly

  • that was 05

  • wow this was getting ridiculous

  • wow, i love wade, but seriously thats a horrible call

  • cant make calls like this...its the finals!!

  • if you ask me the NBA wanted the heat to win that's why this and much more happened in the finals.

  • No contact whatsoever.

    Horrible call.

  • if you watched the games then you wouldn't say anything! End of conversation!

  • so compare it with the charges made by rip hamilton and bowen against lebron james..

  • untouched...

  • man...what a horrible call...someone needs to put up some w/ the Pistons, 95% of the 'Phantom Foul' Calls are against us...

  • popeyekelowna, stfu you dont know what the hell youre sayin!

  • What a beautiful call and what a beautiful way to ruin the game of professional basketball. Thank you david stern.

  • David Stern " Your welcome Sir! As you know i do not like the Dallas Mavericks so i certainly could not have them win it all. Are you crazy!"

  • I'm sorry. All I hear is, "Boo hoo I'm a sore loser."

Mavs get "phantom fouled" all the time. Dirk had the chance to seal the deal in Game 3 and you all woulda had an insurmountable three game lead but Flopinski pulled a big choke job and missed his free throw. LOL

  • Although I don't see the need to make fun, you're absolutely right. Dirk did choke in game 3. But he didn't in game 5, when he had a huge assist to Damp to give them the lead with 10 seconds in regulation, and also hit an incredibly tough shot to take a 1 point lead in OT. Then the worst foul call in finals history happened.

  • how can you people be made at Wade. He is not calling these fouls get mad at the refs or the NBA but not Wade and the Heat

  • in the WCF the calls went against the suns so i like that they got to see how it feels to get screwed

  • The Heat got some help from the refs in the finals. Thats why the suck now

  • That is the worst call I have ever seen. That is really atrocious. The NBA is earning a reputation for things like this: Nate Robinson winning the slam dunk contest; missed palming violations; three or four step moves to basket without dribbling (Keyon Dooling style!).

Eh, it's been this way for a while, but not quite so bad as with D-Wade.

  • look at dwane fade get his pathetic calls.

    fade is pathetic.

  • wade=bitch

  • dude, this just pisses me off. i'm not even gonna say anything else.

  • i'm a suns fan, so i don't feel any pain for you. each one of those phantom fouls are commen place against us...but that being said, Dallas definitely got screwed in that series. and the refs won it for the heat. now you know how it feels.

  • ooooooooooooooo no.

mavs fans can complain about this 1. this 1s clearly a phantom foul.

  • hey guys i swear this is a foul, but unfortunately this angle doesn't CLEARLY show it if u could watch this on an angle where wade is facing u could see he was grabbed i wish i had that video but i swear i saw that angle it was a foul

  • Wade was in the air when the alleged "contact" occurred, but then his shot would have been altered in some way, any small touch will do that (realigning the shot is what scores and-ones). But as you can see it's all one smooth motion.

  • Alrite, THIS PLAY you can't say the Mavs complained. NO WAY that was a foul...

  • man we got ripped!!!
