  • wen u put on de dye is it toxic wen wearing de suit

  • waar kan je dat kopen dat spul

  • I'm making a gillie suit and I was wondering if it mattered if I made mine with all Thread and no strips? Also I live on the west coast (oregon) and I was wondering whats a good combo of yellow and green to get a kind oh moss that grows on trees (where I'm from we call it old mans beard but idk if that's the correct name)

  • best video by far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow thanks dude! i didnt really know how long to soke the ghillie in the dye. now i have a idea :)

  • wow... 99 likes without a dislike. By the way great video!

  • And why do you pull these threads of at 0:31?

  • What to do when it's dried?

  • Eej man hoeveel jute zakken heb je nodig voor 1 pak en waar haal je een net vandaan om jute aan te knopen?

  • how long do you cut the strips and how do you put them on?

  • holy shit, 73 likes without a dislike :O

  • Where did you but the Dylon? I am making my own ghillie suit and I don't care for RIT dye because I personally think it sucks, but whatever. But yeah, where did you buy Dylon Dye?

  • Voor hoeveel verkoop je zo eentje?

  • Awesome!

  • can i spray paint mine as itis already attached to my jacked at it is like natural jute color(will the color last i mean, )

  • how is spike

  • Hey,

    Quick question:

Doesnt the strips start to fray and eventually just fall to pieces?

How do you prevent this? Doesnt it mean it will fall to pieces while crawling on grass?

    Thanks!

  • I do it by cutting 1'x1' or 2'x2' burlap squares and dying those and then stringing them. It helps keep everything neat and it is easier (and a little more fun) to dye

  • do you dye the strips then split some into single threads or have strips and theads ready and dye them separately?

  • @FRVSniperNI Cut and seperate the threads first. You can dye them together so the strips and strings will have the same colour.

  • @GhillieArnhem Many thanks. Do you tie bundles of strings in a loose knot so they don't get tangled with the strips during the dying process. And lastly what way do you tie the strips onto the netting, (1. tie it at one end) or (2. feed half the strip under the net and tie it in the middle so the two ends hang down.)

  • about how mutch burlap would you use for one suit becuse i have alot and dont know when i have enough

  • does dark brown or woodland brown work aswell ?

  • @666ifly walmart

  • @666ifly you can get it at any craft stores like micheals

  • one question.. where do you buy your netting

  • I found Olive didn't really work to well maybe i put to much material for the mixture.

  • Absolutely Superb! A fantastic idea!

So you did all that with one bucket? Let me get this straight; you got a bucket of boiling water, added 1/2 a tin of olive green and soaked jute for thirty seconds, replaced the jute without adding more dye and water, then after that, you added more hot water and 1/4 tin of brown with jute for 30 seconds, then replace, then so on. Is all this correct? You did the different colors with one bucket?

  • "practice makes perfect" so true. i find that mixing 1 packet of dark green (RIT dye) to 1/3 or 1/2 (if you want lighter) golden yellow in 3 gallons hot water, makes a pretty good veg green.
