i went to the first sydney show aswell..and i kinda got pissed off from the shitty opening act ..harmar superstar..lol..dose guys sucked..lol..the crowd was booing em for gods sake..and i got even more pissed wen flea dissed the crowd about it..like hes one of my idols and all..but gese..just shut the fuk up and play ur bass..your getting paid millions to do wat u love..we pay money for a good time not a headache..next time choose a better opening act...

i was at the thursday night show and he was knocked out by a fifty cent piece that someone threw at him!!! every one was laughing!!! the drummer was like "thats not fukin funny"....but the entire stadium atmosphere was like GTFO the stage!!!

and there was no passion at the sydney show except

wasn't at the Sydney show but went to the last Melbourne show. They performed a simular intro to this, brings back some awesome memories man. John had every right to say that, he's played at both big and small crowded events and he would know if a crowd is passionate or not. Sydney folk arent the best of crowds, Melbourne kept John and Flea soloing for 29 minutes after the Give It Away Outro! Dont be surprised if Sydney only has 1 stop for the Chili's Final concert in 4 years.

I was there, it was great, but they didnt play that many songs, and kiedis left 15 mins before the end without saying goodbye, i heard that it was because he had a broken toe, and hed also had an argument. Flea was absolutely on fire though!

Yeah I head Keidis was ill or something too. I've definitely seen them play better, but Flea and John were still really good.

I think the Chili Peppers were a bit pissed off with the crowd because Har Mar Superstar kinda got booed off and people were throwing stuff at him. On Flea's blog he got pretty angry about that.

If you look at a Fleamail at the end of the Aust/NZ tour he says thanks to support band and something to the effect of they rocked every night even though people were close minded and only like music that's on the radio or something to that effect.

yeah, i was at that concert but har mar superstar really wasent that good, he was full pissin off the crowd and he even punched someone in it, me and the friend i was sitting with where really shocked and it was kinda gross cause he full stripped but you gotta give him credit cause he still stayed and did the songs but i was really disappointed the vines where supposed to play but they didn't :( but the chili peppers where freakin awesome!

I had a cold and couldn't speak for a couple of days before the concert. I finally got my voice back and then after screaming so much at the concert I didn't get it back for another week almost... however I was up in the nose bleed section so I'm sure none of my noise reached the stage.
