I have an Acer Aspire 5732z, and it doesn't have those screws that hold the keyboard cover (2:02), or at least not that I can see. Do you know how I would take that off of my laptop?

This is retarded, if you want to clean your fan, you have to do almost all that....i hope the designer gets poisoned and the only antidote is in the heatsink. Instead of just opening a hatch or something he have to disassemble the whole laptop and dies horribly in extreme pain. Screaming he is sorry but i just whisper "you should be....you really should.." in his ear >: (
Hi, can you make a video on how to dissamble Acer Aspire 5550 please? Well, I just want to clean my fan, but so far theres no video here showing it and I don't know how to do it. Thanks
Hello, I would like to know why this happens: recently I bought a new battery for my acer aspire 5580 rated 4400mAh@11.1 V. I plugged it and worked fine but every time the CPU reaches more than 80ºC, it just turn off! However, if I plug the laptop to the current adapter it keeps turned on, even if it reaches 80ºC. Do I have to clean the fan?
I found out that it's due to a broken cpu fan, because I've dropped mine a few times before(the heat problem also occurs when i plug it into ac w/ no batt).
Why not remove the battery and boot it up while plugged into ac?
now u u will not be able to put it back together! DING!

No you have to change your power plan in your opereating system (XP, Vista, Win dows 7).
In your power plan you have set to turn off your laptop when cpu reach 80%.

@VotreCauchemar My acer 5050(same casing!) also does that.
I found out that it's due to a broken cpu fan, because I've dropped mine a few times before(the heat problem also occurs when i plug it into ac w/ no batt).
Why not remove the battery and boot it up while plugged into ac?

MrArif255 2 years ago
@MrArif255 Enmtray = Enet management system tray icon.
Enet management = internet configuration util.
On the desktop, there's this thing with the e, click the globe and u're in enet management. The tray icon(enmtray) should come back.
Seen the problem before on mine.

@krupal111 Do you know where the graphics card is on this, or if it even has a graphics card. Anyone?
JoshC969 4 months ago
@juniorhustla Probably the cpu fan. It probably hit 90 degrees, and the pc thought "Oh man, everyone, shut down before the processor burns up"
Mine has the same problem but it still get up into the windows vista fine(it hits around 75 degrees).
