Hank 3 grew up with his mom and not his dad so they really didn't get to hang out as much as either would have liked when he was young. That and Hank Jr was so busy with his career and touring and now that he's older and settled down, he's befriended Kid Rock. I'm no fan of Kid Rock myself. I saw the deal as promotional on Hank's part to be seen with him. Good career move at the time. Kid ain't country though. 3 is.
