Great vid as always Dale, one suggestion though, when you first showed this knot to me, the main thing I found impressive about it was the speed that it could be tied compared to the traditional method. Obviously a quickly tied knot is no good for a video on learning the knot itself, but if you get a chance, could you edit a bit on the end of you tying this one super fast? I think a lot of people would find it really impressive.

I too discovered this method of tying several years ago. I've called it the "Hybrid Method", using ONE wrap and ONE twist to tie the knot.
It is my hope that more people will come to appreciate the Alpine Butterfly Knot as a direct result of this quick and "user friendly" way of tying it.
