At least regarding the chorus if I'm not wrong it should be something like this (tune your guitar half step down, it is a must for this song): C-D#-G#-F-G# - repeat 2 times and then a G to come back into the verse or the bridge. The main riff is not that hard to play either but the way Warren does it is just outstanding... ;-) Great song to listen and play! Thanks Mule!
@EdD1024 All the chords are correct as far as I can tell. Good job! Just wanted to mention that I cope with "Brand New Angel" with the help of simple dropped-D tuning. It`s easier to tune the low E to D in a live concert situation than to tune the whole guitar half-step down. IMHO, of course. Mule rocks!
Why? They're both different players. That's kind of a shitty thing to say, Andy had his great moments, but I do hear more of a "Woody" sound with Jorgen. Warren and Matt could fart into the microphone for 3 hrs straight and I would pay to see it live.
Tabs are really nice to have when you are in a jam, especially for beginners. I have been playin for quite a few years now and still use both. Learning by ear helps you get the feel and the correct accents. If you are gonna play other peoples music, it should at least feel the same. Played with many who called themselves musicians and they cant play Warren's music. They got no Feel.
FeelingShred If you liked Warrens solo on this song checkout when the MULE covers Bluejean Blues. Badass song recorded in a BAR no high end stage production just the band and their amps. Raw music at its best
just saw these guys play a late night set at allgood festival on friday. so awesome...haynes is an insane guitarist. they rocked out until the sun was about to come up, and finished with an encore of comfortably numb and soulshine. straight up mind-blowing rock and roll.

Sometimes it's better to learn stuff by ear anyway. To learn a Mule song without tab is pretty common if you like them, there's not much tab.

Agreed 100%!! I've been learning Mule tunes by ear for a long time now!
