@COWZROCK1112345 I think that watching video tutorials from other guitar players can definitely serve as a good tool for developing ears and eyes assuming that it is from an official source. When your watching a tutorial you are given the puzzle pieces (Notes) and all you have to do is put them together. When going by ear alone however you need to find the puzzle pieces (Notes) and put them together. So yes It can help you but just know that you won't always have a live video to reference on.

@TheRookie999 Thats a common problem that alot of beginner guitarists have starting off. Believe it or not something like that should feel second nature to you after a decent amount of practice. My advice to you is to do those chromatic 1-2-3-4 excercises on the fretboard on every string every time you piok up the guitar for at least 5-10 minutes. Try to not look at your picking hand while practicing and after awhile, switching strings without looking should start to feel very natural to you.

I'd rather save my money and use my ears where at least im trusting my own insticts. When did I ever say that people that read music have higher chances of being known on youtube? Steve Vai is a guitarist that can read music Stevie Ray Vaughn is a guitarist that cant read music. There both well known but SRV couldnt last in a musical situation because of it.

@XxDakman96xX True tone comes from your technique. I use the humbucker pickup so I dont get that buzz coming out from the amp. Things like the setup of the guitar may affect the sustain and buzzing of a note but if your trying to get the same sound as me you would need a Line 6 Spider IV 15watt amp.

@Toxin932 I dont have tabs. I dont use tabs. I dont have time to waste making tabs. Guitarists need to rely on their own ears instead of assuming tabs are correct in which case they never are. They're extremely limiting and In a musical or professional situation you will lbe looked down on if you show up and aren't able to read real music. Ive been that guy and it isnt fun. Unless its from an official source, tabs wont be right and in that case you still wont be able to read rhythm with tabs.
