Fred is not related to Jerry. While I didn't agree with Jerry's attitude towards gays and lesbians I give him credit in that he distanced himself from Fred and wouldn't have anything to do with him. The feelings must have been mutual because when Jerry died, Fred's gang picketed his funeral. Fred is so extreme that he made Jerry look like a liberal in comparison.

For the record, I am a Christian from Canada where gays and lesbians are protected by the law and allowed to marry. I fully support their rights in this regard. When some of Fred's gang attempted to picket the funeral of Tim Mclean in Winnipeg who was decapitated on a Greyhound Bus, they managed to get into Canada but threats of prosecution under Hate Crimes Laws and over 200 people ready to form a human wall to protect Tim's family, they became a bunch of cowards and didn't show up.
