@sillyyygirl We're not talking about babies here, we're talking about unborn fetuses. If a woman gives birth to a baby and then kills it after its born, that is murder. If there is a clump of cells barely one week old in the mother's womb and she aborts those cells before they become a baby, that is an abortion. Not murder. @sillyyygirl I never said anything about it being 5-6 months along. Most women in the US get an abortion WAY before that time, within the legal timeframe. Cases in which the mother's life/health is in danger are exceptions, obviously. Sometimes the baby doesn't make it as well if it has to be delivered early for the mother's health. Multiple court rulings have ruled to the effect that banning PB abortions would be unconstitutional in cases where the mother's health depends on it.

If there is a clump of cells barely one week old in the mother's womb and she aborts those cells before they become a baby, that is an abortion. Not murder. @sillyyygirl I never said anything about it being 5-6 months along. Most women in the US get an abortion WAY before that time, within the legal timeframe. Cases in which the mother's life/health is in danger are exceptions, obviously. Sometimes the baby doesn't make it as well if it has to be delivered early for the mother's health. Multiple court rulings have ruled to the effect that banning PB abortions would be unconstitutional in cases where the mother's health depends on it.

The word embryo is used of any living creature at an eraly stage of development.
