  • Man I remember playing this with my friends in Vegas like what, 13 years ago? 15?

  • 0:28-0:31 gta love that guys O.O! face

  • Battletech Firestorm by Virtual World, Telsa II cock pits. this game came out decades ahead of its time..

  • Wow this brings back memories starting playing in Chicago then moved to NYC. I ran into the sims at Lazer Park by accident one day in Times Square!

  • We definantly need this for ISW. Any idea how to get a hold of it?

  • I'd take an Atlas any day vs AI but vs humans... no way... one head shot with EPPC or even maybe just a lucky one shot from a pair of ERLL, you're decapitated.

Catapults aren't even close quarter combat. It's a missile battery with weak lasers for close combat. But I was really good with it for MW2 Mercnet... :D

  • Atlas + Madcat vs Catapult....

    He picked the wrong mech.

  • LOL! This guy was sitting in Catapult! No suprise he got owned :P

  • I wish there was one near where I lived!

  • We had one on Long Island,NY at Jillian's a few years ago. I went back about 6 months after the first time going, to find it had been replaced with some crappy racing sim where you sat in a miniaturized car on hyrdraulics in front of a projector screen. LAME.

The guy working was really disappointed they had gotten rid of them.

  • I played in these at Jillian's in Colorado Mills Shopping Mall (I-70 and 6th Avenue). The beam splitter on the main display makes the terrain and movement so realistic that some people were screaming while they play and we hear that one person got motion sickness.

  • Erm...Is it just me, or does it looks like they are just putting MW4 into PODs and sell it off as 'Firestorm'?

  • Actually, it is the MW 4 engine with considerable modifications.

The developement has continued. If you own a MW4 CD, you can download for free a 1 GByte zip file that includes the expansion packs and the upgrades. The develelopers have continued the maps and mechs. The main monitor is a virtual reality system that provides a 25 m focal lenght and some other technology to add realistic movement.

Mech Warrior 4 players pick up on this game very quickly of course.
