love you sarah you are our hope thanks for fighting for the freedom for the people and fighting for our country from the communist. the dems are going down and obama will sink back into the dark pit of blackness he came from. evil will die as obama will for eternity be in hell where he belongs. dont fk with america you communist democrate pigs you wont win.
You know by world standards the democrats are centre right don't you? They aren't even slightly left wing let alone communists. You have no idea what socialism is in America and its why those most of need of help in your society are left to die in the street.
The only reason you call the democrats 'communists' is because your trying to make the republicans look like normal conservatives in comparison. But they are actually FAR FAR right.
@77CanonRummel77 Please learn to read, then continue on and try to educate yourself a bit. To the person that is doing the typing for you,STOP IT!! You are only helping this fool continue on in life with out being able to read or write. That is the only way I can begin to excuse this persons ignorance. If you are a slow-minded 10 year old, I apologize.
Who are thse new Republicans that have infected my beloved party?
For the most part they are extreme right-wing Christian fundamentalists, neo-Nazis, pedophiles, perverts, terrorists, cowards, corrupt corporate agents, fascists, drug addicts, convicted felons,racists,war-mongers,and a terrible assortment of hate-filled scumbags. Where are our Lincolns...our Eisenhowers...our Teddy Roosevelts???
Listen to these words of Mr. McGuffey: "THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION IS THE RELIGION OF OUR COUNTRY. From it are derived our notions on character of God, on the great moral Governor of the universe. On its doctrines are founded the peculiarities of our free institutions. From no source has the author drawn more conspicuously than from the sacred Scriptures. From all these extracts from the Bible I make no apology."
I think might want to go back to your liberal college, Mr. Closet Liberal. :-)
Ever find those strictly Christian principals in our constitution?
No?
Then you should shut the hell up. Everything you've said here completely bastardizes what the topic of the conversation was. The topic wasn't whether or not our founding fathers were outspoken Christians, it's if the constitution has any mention of these strictly Christian principals.
You lose. Get over it. Our constitution is a secular document. Anything beyond that is a completely different argument entirely.
Well actually, McGuffey, a man born in 1800 and had no role in the forming of our nation, never said the last two sentences in that quote. In fact, what you posted is a very good example of the misinformation being spread by the religious right.
You should look up McGuffey Readers, and read about the hate it spreads in regards to Native Americans and Jews. I bet you'd like that sort of thing.
Anyways, a quote from McGuffey still doesn't support your initial argument.
You said God is everywhere in the constitution. <This is where the argument started. I said he isn't, you said he is, then continued to provide no proof of anything for the basis of this statement.
"In God We Trust" is on our money <I showed you why it's on our money, and when it was first put there. No response from you.
Now you misquote our founding fathers even when the quotes don't support your initial argument.
Time for me to go back to college? More like time for you to consider it
Also consider these words that Thomas Jefferson wrote on the front of his well- worn Bible: "I am a Christian, that is to say a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus. I have little doubt that our whole country will soon be rallied to the unity of our Creator and, I hope, to the pure doctrine of Jesus also."
It is the same congress that formed the American Bible Society. Immediately after creating the Declaration of Independence, the Continental Congress voted to purchase and import 20,000 copies of scripture for the people of this nation.
I just presented you a shit-ton of evidence....how much more do I have to dig up for you?? Loser Liberals are not worth my time or the time of any other decent American.
Did you know that 52 of the 55 signers of The Declaration of Independence were orthodox, deeply committed Christians? The other three all believed in the Bible as the divine truth, the God of scripture, and His personal intervention.
BUT - Mr. Closet Liberal here will tell you that Christianity has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the founding of this country!!! WOW how can people so grossly twist the facts?
It's you who's twisting facts. You seem to think that people who are devout Christians must suddenly be unable to do anything in life without it being centered around Christianity.
And yet, here you are speaking with me, a devout Christian who knows the constitution wasn't based on Christianity AT ALL.
"So if I were to say it was based on RELIGION - would that also be far fetched?? "
It's too generalized. Why is it such a bad thing that our founding fathers wrote the constitution as a secular document, founded on enlightened ideas that ensured the freedom of the citizens of the US? Why do you want to believe so badly that God must have been involved and not the good hearts and intelligent minds of some of the greatest men in history?
As you can see from Mr. Closet Liberal, in their desire to promote their secular humanist philosophy using the power of government, many liberals today want to alter America's Christian heritage, remove religion from its history, and replace it with the Soviet doctrine of the separation of Church and State. Their desire is not to safeguard denominational neutrality by the state as the Founders intended, it is to eradicate every vestige of religion from our public institutions. Bottom line!!!!
Nothing you've said is fact, or could rationally be determined from anything I've said.
It's like me saying people like Lovin1Country want to bring back burning at the stake for women who are left handed, and that it's time for an American inquisition where we kill all non-Christians.
It's made up bullshit. Try and stick to the conversation we're actually having, and not the deluded one going on in your mind.
I don't have a lot of time so I'll keep it simple - I've got this American quarter here in front of me clearly saying "In GOD we trust". Now - you're saying our government has no Christian principles, was not founded on it, and has nothing to do with it.
SO WHAT THE HELL IS THIS DOING HERE?!?!?!?!?!? LOL
OK - that is not a 'strictly' Christian belief but it is one of their own. And since 95% of the founders were Christian....gee what can we deduce from this fact?
You might as well point to "One nation under God" as the same sort of proof.
You should really look into the history of something before using it as a basis for such a factless argument.
Just like "under God" in the pledge, "In God We Trust" was added long after this country was formed. The motto first appeared on a coin in 1864, but In God We Trust did not become the official U.S. national motto until after the passage of an Act of Congress in 1956.
Read the Star Spangled Banner. Read the Constitution (..."and this be our motto "In God is our trust". There's a big "G" word in there mentioned all over the place - something the liberal fuck-ups are trying to erase. Sick bastards.....
Francis Scott Key did not form our country, and our choosing his poem as our national anthem is the equivalent of our using "under God" in the pledge of allegiance.
HAHAHAHA - DENIAL!!! It's been in place for over two CENTURIES. So you're saying our nation anthem is untrue, not to be interpreted as anything we're based on, and should be discarded.
That's like saying just because someone purchases a Cadillac - doesn't mean they are someone who likes driving Cadillac's and should be no indication of their taste in vehicles.....LOL! WTF?!?!
This argument is whether or not our country is founded on Christian principals. What you're talking about doesn't do anything for that argument at all.
Let me ask you this: Are we founded on Greek mythology? No? Well then we should change Saturday to a different name because otherwise we're worshiping Saturn.
You're an idiot who has no clue what he's talking about. You've provided NOTHING to support your argument, and your only attack is to call me a liberal.
We're not a Christian nation - as evidenced by the freak shows and sinners on our streets. But if the argument is whether we were founded on Christian principles - the answer is an unequivocal and emphatic YES.
If you feel that our nation has so many sinners, then do your small part to spread the word of Christ.
The fact is, you haven't shown a single "Christian principal" in our constitution, so your argument holds no water. The moment you can do that is the moment I take you seriously, otherwise you're just showing me that you are repeating misinformation told to you by someone else.
Its hard to imajine that there are enough dumbfucks who would vote this twat into office....but on the odd chance it happens she'll probably quit after a few weeks.
If there's anything we can learn from past elections, it's that the masses are morons and tend to be incapable of putting someone competent into office.
To have a good chance at running for president you have to be a good salesman, and a good liar.
Just look at Obama. He sold those lies brilliantly. Never once did candidate Obama mention anything about a public option, or mandates in his health care reform ideas.
@LoryLandskipper _ do you put any stock in the Bilderburg claims? Seems Hillary and Obama have been at those meeting, so I've read. If so, that would add their approval before you can even get to the good salesman & good liar stage.
I have also read that the founders, for the most part were Dietists. Is that like an agnostic?
lol no not really. I like a good conspiracy theory but I take them with a grain of salt.
As far as dietists, that's not a word :) It's deists, and it means to believe in God (and yes, they were Christians so they would be considered deists.) An agnostic is someone who doesn't believe in God.
The plain truth is our founding fathers were Christians, but that didn't mean they weren't also highly educated and enlightened men capable of forming a government separate from their religious beliefs.
Yet, another fact is how people like Mr. Closet Liberal like to do is viciously attack conservatives, their principles, and God....we can all expect this as God said to. But remember this loser liberals!!! God is on our side - not yours. And when your goofy culture of gay marriage and abortion comes crashing down don't come running to us! ;-)
How have I viciously attacked conservatives? If anything, I've been very precise about who I've attacked.
Simply saying "viciously attack conservatives" is a strawman argument. You do know what that is don't you? You're making shit up in order to win this "argument."
"God is on our side - not yours." Says the fake Christian.
Did you know Benjamin Franklin proposed that before each meeting a prayer should be said? It was voted down, however, by the same men who formed this nation. Why would they do that if their ideas were rooted in Christianity, and the nation was to be a Christian one?
I have no doubt Lovin1Country really does love this country, but I also have no doubt he's allowed others to falsely interpret history for him. We can't allow others to rewrite history, period.
@LoryLandskipper - I can see that point of view. BF's proposal could have been interpreted as a sanctioned religion I believe it was wise to vote that down, for that principal. Personally, I don't see how a prayer could hurt, but using my logic, we could see prayer rugs on the Senate floor, and that's the slippery slope. If you allow one religious prayer, you can't discriminate. That's my argument with the gay marriage thing. If we redefine marriage to encompass gays, we must include others.
You should check out Ron Paul's take on gay marriage. Out of all the "solutions" I've seen, his is the best in my opinion.
Basically, take out the government's role of defining what marriage is. They could recognize contracts and grant divorces, but beyond that, it's not any of their business to tell people who they can and can't marry.
I'm admittedly a Ron Paul sheep. Almost everything he says I agree with. I disagree with him about dismantling the DOE though (maybe I'm just naive.)
He thinks it's failed and education should be ran by the state, but I think it's just mismanaged. If education were to be ran by the state, Texas could very well be teaching creationism in science class lol
The reason the constitution needs to be amended to protect marriage is because selfish nut-jobs like yourself are not content to rock the boat, you want to sink the ship. And looking forward, Mr. Closet Liberal - you are currently not allowed to marry your PETS!!! I will vote against that as well if people like you ever decide to make an issue of it.
You have no clue as to what you're saying. You're like a child repeating what their ignorant hate-filled parents have taught them.
We all live once, why should we take rights away from ANYONE because of something they were born with?
To deny homosexuals the right to marriage is to deny that one is born a homosexual. I bet you think being gay is a choice. That just shows how ignorant you really are.
People like you are the worst thing to happen to the republican party, and this country.
I never said homosexuals couldn't get married....anyone has a right to marry a member of the opposite sex as long as they are willing to enter into the contract. Bottom line is marriage is betweeen a man and a woman - that's the way it has been and they way it always should be. And, if you don't like it that's just too bad.
You're fundamentally wrong about this issue. It's a matter of equal rights.
The government shouldn't define marriage, especially when it discriminates against anyone. This argument that if we allow homosexuals to marry, that the next step is people marrying animals is disgustingly ignorant and hateful.
People like you once thought another certain group of people in this country shouldn't have equality...
FASTEN your seatbelts Loser Liberals!!! There's more!!
John Quincy Adams, son of John Adams, was the sixth U.S. President.
He was also the chairman of the American Bible Society, which he considered his highest and most important role. On July 4, 1821, President Adams said, "The highest glory of the American Revolution was this: it connected in one indissoluble bond the principles of civil government with the PRINCIPLES OF CHRISTIANITY."
You still haven't shown a shred of evidence that the constitution has anything strictly Christian in it. How can you say I'm tinkering with history when I'm using facts to back my point?
I don't want to remove God from public conscious. I personally would like to spread Christianity to everyone I meet. You have no idea what you're saying right now.
No ain't proved jack! Yet you spew it liked a busted sewer main during a salmonella outbreak at a DNC convention! All you do is bounce around like a fairy on other peoples arguments saying "No it's not!" "No it's not!", The 10 commandments don't mean anyhing, 35 Christians writing the damn thing doesn't matter, GOD being on our currency doesn't count so what the hell more do you want Mr. Closet Liberal?!?!?! LOL!!!
Was Patrick Henry a Christian? The following year, 1776, he wrote this "It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religion, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For that reason alone, people of other faiths have been afforded freedom of worship here."
Need any more than that?? I think I'll take Patrick's words over those of any modern day closet liberal loon any day!!!
Well actually, as it turns out, nobody has ever been able to locate this quote in any of his papers. It's considered as much as a forgery as the real thing.
You don't need to take my word for it though. You just probably found something on the internet and used it (as I tried to do one time with the same exact quote.)
The quote is a popular one because nobody really knows where it came from, but people stress that he said it. My professor recognized it immediately actually.
And I bet your "Professor" with his infinite wisom, is a liberal as well.....hahaha Most of them are now-days. And you don't think anything based on religion wasn't stripped from the public conciousness in the last 40-50 years? You would have to be dumber than a stump.....
The past 40 to 50 years? Did you not see where I showed you how "One nation under God" was added in 1954, and "In God We Trust" became the nation's motto in 1956?
Yes, and it's currently under attacks from Liberals to get rid of it, along with the 10 commandments!! You've yet to tell me WHY the 10 commandments were placed in our courtrooms all across the country? Why were they ever put there?
Well it was during the red scare that we put "one nation under God" into our pledge as well as made "In God We Trust" our national motto.
It was also in the 50's that the majority of ten commandments displays you see today were donated by the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Other displays the 50's, but none of the displays go back to the days of the founding of our country. Almost all were placed during the 20th century and almost all are on city or county property, not state or federal.
The supreme court building, built in 1935, displays the ten commandments, but since the full text isn't there, they were classified as "artistic depictions."
Read up on what's depicted in the large frieze inside the supreme court. It's interesting to note that the only religious book depicted in the entire frieze is the Koran. Can you believe it?
On the back of the building, there's a sculpture of Confucius, Moses and Solon. Moses in the middle holding blank tablets.
Now consider these words from George Washington in his farewell speech:
"It is impossible to govern the world without God and the Bible. Of all the dispositions and habits that lead to political prosperity, our religion and morality are the indispensable supporters. Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that our national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle."
Typical you would spread more misinformation, wanting to rewrite history. That quote isn't accurate at all, and the proof is obvious if you read the actual source.
Go ahead and do a little research. You'll find what parts of that quote are bogus and when you do, you'll see how using it doesn't support your argument at all.
Don't you get it? People have purposely misinformed you in order to manipulate you.
OK - THEN PRESENT THE ACTUAL QUOTE. AND PROVE YOURS IS ACCURATE AND MINE IS FALSE. Which I'm sure you can't.
Quick tip young American conservatives - loser liberals are nothing to be afraid of. But If the Islamic Fanatics don't destroy our country then they will!!! And they can easily be stopped.
Go google "george washington's farewell speech" and then search for the sentences in the quote you posted. Once you read them in context (if they are even present) you'll see how telling me to present "the actual quote" doesn't make much sense.
en wikisource org/wiki/Washington%27s_Farewell_Address
Now, any rational and intelligent person, once they saw how they were manipulated into spreading misinformation, would step back and really think about whether or not the source they were using is credible. You won't though, I know you. I know people LIKE you. This isn't about me showing you how and why you're wrong, it's about you willingly giving in to a delusion and clinging to it.
Oh I see - everything I posted are misquotes yet you use Wikipedia are your CREDIBLE knowledgebase?!?!? Keep in mind, loser liberals, all the info on Wikipedia can be submitted by ANYONE and twisted by anyone.
Looks like Mr. Closet Liberal is getting testy with m!! I love when liberals slip into a complete RAGE when facts are presented or things presented that might distort their twisted views.
This comment is pretty funny in a few ways. First, instead of googling something like "george washington's farewell speech" you chose to dismiss wikipedia as a bunch of liberal lies. I literally am crying from the laughter.
Secondly, you say I'm slipping into a complete rage, but really I'm starting to see just how irritated you're getting. Oh, but I must be raging because of all the "facts" you've posted here. Wait, what facts again? Twist that comment back around on yourself :)
What about this fact - where he says national morality is not possible without religious principles? You don't think this is a foundation of his beliefts, or a foundation of this country he helped build??
"Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle."
Well first off, his entire statement showed he understood that people can be moral but at the same time refute the existence of God. That's why he said that "we must indulge with caution the possibility that moral virtue can exist apart from religion." He never RULED OUT the possibility.
So basically, he never said it was impossible to be moral without God, but he definitely urged that the citizens of the nation could use all the help they could get to be so. Make sense?
THIS IS YOUR LUCKY DAY MR. CLOSET LIBERAL - READ CLOSELY!!!
How about our first Court Justice, John Jay? He stated that when we select our national leaders, if we are to preserve our Nation, we must select Christians:
"Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers and it is the duty as well as the privilege and interest of OUR CHRISTIAN NATION to select and prefer Christians for their rulers."
Would you like a paper towel for all that egg dripping from your face?? ;-)
So you went to a website that has obvious bogus quotes, you copy one thing, then wrap it in obnoxious assholisms.
LMFAO
This conversation is so over. You don't have an open mind at all, and all you want to do is argue for the sake of arguing, even when you have to use lies to back up a false claim about our nation.
What was this? An exchange of ideas? Nope, just me listening to some dope who really doesn't have a clue.
Sorry Mr. Closet Liberal, you are the once constantly dismissing ANYTHING I or anyone else says. If we present it, you simply say "Oh no, I went to college and did research and that wasn't really said, or mentioning God doesn't mean it's related to Christianity or religion for that matter...." LOL!!! You want sterile-minded and pre-programmed?? Look in the mirror! All liberals are this way.
I'll dismiss it if it's not factual or doesn't support your argument in any way. Do you even remember what your argument is?
You literally said God was mentioned all over the place in the constitution, but you can't seem to find a single thing to post FROM the constitution to support this argument. Then you tell me I'm twisting facts.
I'm beginning to think you're just willfully ignorant about this stuff.
That's simple - because they didn't want this country to be exclusively for Christian's only. It still does not disprove the fact this country was founded on Christain principles!!! Why does this anger you so much Mr. Closet Liberal??
From the colonial charters which universally cited the glory of God and the advancement of Christianity as their motivation, to the Declaration of Independence which cites the Laws of Nature and of Natures God and our Creator as the source of our rights and appeals to the Supreme Judge of the world and declares a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, to the U.S. Constitution which acknowledges the Christian worldview and even the Christian day of worship.
The basis of all Western law stems from Greek and classical Roman law, which were not influenced by Judaism or Christianity at all. English law is based on pre-Christian Anglo-Saxon and Roman law.
Again, you bring up the Constitution. FOR THE LAST TIME, GIVE ME SPECIFIC EXAMPLES. If you don't, I'll accept that you admit you're wrong in this argument.
If you refer to them as "The Masses" that only proves you do not know them. If Liberals were not allowed to vote this country would be awesome. And yes, B. Hussein Obama doesn't have a clue as to what he's doing.
But he didn't blow up the plane! Unlike those guys on Sept. 11 who did! While Georgie the boy king had his thumbs up his ass reading a book that was frankly too much for him!
QUICK POLL!!! How many liberals do you think have called her a 'bitch' in the last 24 hours?? LOL!! Boy the champions of 'compassion' and 'acceptance' sure get their panties bunched when they feel threatened don't they?!?
why is the money "dirty" was it part of a heist? for the time being she is not a politician, she is a private citizen. a private citizen hired by a private organization and payed in private funds.
after the election she returned home to alaska where presumably as the nations most popular gov. she would have stayed, but reporters had to know about her disabled child, her other child's sex life, non stop
nonsense.
THEY shined the spotlight on her and now she is using it. smart .
@imaginepeace63 - True, and your Queen, Pelosi, has stone hundreds of millions of dollars from taxpayers for her private, secreet service controlled, 757 to fly from Ca. to DC twice a week. Pelosi, what a theiving cunt! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
laugh all you want about Pelosi. I hate her as much as you do. She is own by big pharma. Then again so is Sarah Palin. Both parties suck with few exceptions
@imaginepeace63 - You bothered me by calling Palin the "Queen of the Tea Party". That was a completely untrue and ignorant and aggressive message. I personally wish she would go away, but I am also a Tea Party member, who is angry about out of control taxes. So don't pop around the internet insulting Tea Party members and expect to be treated with respect.
Look, stop watching Keith Olberdork and certainly be careful about mocking a group who is about upholding the values of the Constitution.
KKK convention,. common sense. lol Americans that attend these conventions don't have common sense. republicans have always spent more and deregulated that brought us this mess. dems are corporatists, but these guys are full fledged corporatists.
@LouieArrighi - HOLY SHIT! You win! I have found the person that is perfectly ignorant! Everything you said was not only wrong, but completely baseless. You shame yourself, your family, your race and humanity. At this point, you would be doing the world a favor to simply, kill yourself. Your very existence is a void that the rest of us must fill. It would be an amazing trip to walk in your shoes to feel what it's like to exist as a less than zero worth entity, but then I would need a shower.
Teaparty lost all respect when they let her speak. She stands for everything the constitution tries to protect us from. Monsters like her have no place in paving a better future.
God no hes a brainless moron. I don't want Sara "the Nazi" plain in charge as much as I don't want Obama in charge. There are better people to lead a revolution. I don't want to replace one tyrant with another.
@facemobb954 - as greedy as the Reid Pelosi agenda? They are pushing an agenda that only about 29% favor, that will negatively impact every American with increased taxes and reduced coverage. I'd say that's much more greedy, almost downright evil!
@btc8128 - sounds like she took a page from the Obama playbook! The characters on the left are just as, if not more guilty of taking money for speaking engagements and just spouting crap they don't mean, like change, transparancy and global warming. They all have their hand in the till!
I love reading the liberals get all shaken up in their boots over Sarah.
Independents and Republicans love you Sarah! Just ignore the liberals. They are OUTNUMBERED greatly in this country. Conservatives more than DOUBLE those clowns.
The Palin haters are just one of the many reasons liberals will be outnumbered for GENERATIONS.
@MyLifeRules76 I assume your screen name is the exact opposite? I'm a Republican and know Sarah is a payed co opt of the real Tea party movement. Her and Glenn Beck will be revealed as the same old Bush,Obama agenda of constant War and spending. Along with the Constitution being torn to nothing. She's a Neocon Dude!
Being that this is one of the most blatantly populist speaches I have heard since 2008 and that she was actually PAID over $100,000 to make this appearance not to mention her past record - this is actually a win for the libtards since Palin is nothing more than another closet libral republicrat corporate lapdog.
SP: Todd, with these G-dm emails coming out everyone is gonna find out you were runnin the show . . . Ill be G-dmned if that means Im going to have to start working! Im quittin the governorship!
TP: Thats OK honey, I almost finished your book with the ghostwriter and then well be rollin in the dough!
SP: Oh sweetie, youre so smart . . . and I love the title: Going Rouge! You know I love rouge!
Sarah Palin has a motherfucking child running around looking crazy as a motherfucker.
See, real motherfucking woman sacrifice.
She should have aborted his motherfucking ass.
Cause he ain't shit!
She knew the day that the doctors put him in her got damn hands he wasn't a got damn thing. LMFAO She and that crazy baby will never sleep in the white house.
I like how Palin and the TEA party members blame every economic problem facing America on Obama. Who had the White House for eight years 01-09and for 20 of the last 30 years? Who controlled Congress for 12 years? Who enacted irresponsible tax cuts? The main reason America is in the poorhouse is because of the flawed economic policies of the GOP. I hope the GOP win back Congress in November. Two years of these right wing amnesiacs will surely deliver Obama a second term just like Clinton.
@densaner77 - You seem to forget that the Democrats have had control of the House and Senate since Jan. 2007. Isn't that precisely when the wheels fell off the cart? Weird AND ironic, isn't it? Wasn't it also the Dems who sat on their hands while the economy was failing faster and faster? Wasn't it Comrade Pelosi who blocked every recovery effort Bush made in his final year? Weird AND ironic, isn't it? Wasn't it the Dems who decided to convene Congress for a month as the Housing market fell?
@JimFromWaterford. Yeah so it's all Pelosi's fault now? Your response is typical of the GOP. Who allowed Lehman Bros. to collapse? Republicans NEVER admit responsibility for anything. It's the Liberal Media or it's the Democrats. The changes that brought about this economic calamity were Republican measures. The last Democrat President left a national surplus. The last three Republicans left America deeply in debt. It's economics Jim but not as we know it.
the false left/right paradigm working like a charm... score aother one for the republicrats and corperate interests while the people argue partisan politic amongst themselves and get nothing...
PS - the body 'known' as congress hasnt RE convened absent a quorum since 1861 and the wheels fell off the cart on jekyll island almost 100 years ago.
Even Ron Paul calls for audit but never mentions the illegality of the ENTIRE OPERATION from its inception!
I agree 100%, but I can't wait to see all of the educated, progressive, smug, elitist, arrogant democrats lose their jobs. I hope the right got the message and the left is dessimated in November.
where is the video tape of this cunt being fucked by that voodoo witch doctor she worships? come on Levi! give us the goods...put this bitch out to pasture!
i say we take up a fund to pay levi johnston 2 million dollars to give us the dirt on this skank..i'm sick of her and this john birch society bullshit.. granted the two party system is a joke, but this "tea party" bush league shit is beyond humor...sad, pathetic, and ronald reagan?
@baronderothchild Sarah Palin has a motherfucking child running around looking crazy as a motherfucker.
See, real motherfucking woman sacrifice.
She should have aborted his motherfucking ass.

Anyone who comes out on stage and the first thing they say is:-
'i am so proud of being an american'
and
'thankyou to our armed forces for our freedom'
is retarded. Why are you proud to be an amerrican? What have YOU done to make america great other than being squeezed out of your mother on US soil?
And your armed forces are doing anything but helping your freedom at the moment.
Palin is so cliche and SO stupid.

LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
Mr. Mr. McGuffey not say those words then?? If not, what did he say?
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
Well actually, McGuffey, a man born in 1800 and had no role in the forming of our nation, never said the last two sentences in that quote. In fact, what you posted is a very good example of the misinformation being spread by the religious right.
You should look up McGuffey Readers, and read about the hate it spreads in regards to Native Americans and Jews. I bet you'd like that sort of thing.
Anyways, a quote from McGuffey still doesn't support your initial argument.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
Well what did he say? ;-)
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
He said exactly what you posted, minus the last two sentences.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
Oh wait, do you mean what did he say about jews and native Americans?
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
You said God is everywhere in the constitution. <This is where the argument started. I said he isn't, you said he is, then continued to provide no proof of anything for the basis of this statement.
"In God We Trust" is on our money <I showed you why it's on our money, and when it was first put there. No response from you.
Now you misquote our founding fathers even when the quotes don't support your initial argument.
Time for me to go back to college? More like time for you to consider it
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
Also consider these words that Thomas Jefferson wrote on the front of his well- worn Bible: "I am a Christian, that is to say a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus. I have little doubt that our whole country will soon be rallied to the unity of our Creator and, I hope, to the pure doctrine of Jesus also."
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
It is the same congress that formed the American Bible Society. Immediately after creating the Declaration of Independence, the Continental Congress voted to purchase and import 20,000 copies of scripture for the people of this nation.
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
Yeah, they were Christians. What does this do to support your argument that "God's all over the place" in our constitution?
Amazing how you're grasping on to ANYTHING to twist the facts here.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
I just presented you a shit-ton of evidence....how much more do I have to dig up for you?? Loser Liberals are not worth my time or the time of any other decent American.
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
Did you know that 52 of the 55 signers of The Declaration of Independence were orthodox, deeply committed Christians? The other three all believed in the Bible as the divine truth, the God of scripture, and His personal intervention.
BUT - Mr. Closet Liberal here will tell you that Christianity has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the founding of this country!!! WOW how can people so grossly twist the facts?
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
It's you who's twisting facts. You seem to think that people who are devout Christians must suddenly be unable to do anything in life without it being centered around Christianity.
And yet, here you are speaking with me, a devout Christian who knows the constitution wasn't based on Christianity AT ALL.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
So if I were to say it was based on RELIGION - would that also be far fetched??
Lovin1Country 2 years ago

"So if I were to say it was based on RELIGION - would that also be far fetched?? "
It's too generalized. Why is it such a bad thing that our founding fathers wrote the constitution as a secular document, founded on enlightened ideas that ensured the freedom of the citizens of the US? Why do you want to believe so badly that God must have been involved and not the good hearts and intelligent minds of some of the greatest men in history?
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
As you can see from Mr. Closet Liberal, in their desire to promote their secular humanist philosophy using the power of government, many liberals today want to alter America's Christian heritage, remove religion from its history, and replace it with the Soviet doctrine of the separation of Church and State. Their desire is not to safeguard denominational neutrality by the state as the Founders intended, it is to eradicate every vestige of religion from our public institutions. Bottom line!!!!
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
Strawman argument. Look it up.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
I don't have a lot of time so I'll keep it simple - I've got this American quarter here in front of me clearly saying "In GOD we trust". Now - you're saying our government has no Christian principles, was not founded on it, and has nothing to do with it.
SO WHAT THE HELL IS THIS DOING HERE?!?!?!?!?!? LOL
OK - that is not a 'strictly' Christian belief but it is one of their own. And since 95% of the founders were Christian....gee what can we deduce from this fact?
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
You might as well point to "One nation under God" as the same sort of proof.
You should really look into the history of something before using it as a basis for such a factless argument.
Just like "under God" in the pledge, "In God We Trust" was added long after this country was formed. The motto first appeared on a coin in 1864, but In God We Trust did not become the official U.S. national motto until after the passage of an Act of Congress in 1956.

Francis Scott Key did not form our country, and our choosing his poem as our national anthem is the equivalent of our using "under God" in the pledge of allegiance.
Your argument is still unsupported.

Lovin1Country 2 years ago
This argument is whether or not our country is founded on Christian principals. What you're talking about doesn't do anything for that argument at all.
Let me ask you this: Are we founded on Greek mythology? No? Well then we should change Saturday to a different name because otherwise we're worshiping Saturn.
You're an idiot who has no clue what he's talking about. You've provided NOTHING to support your argument, and your only attack is to call me a liberal.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
We're not a Christian nation - as evidenced by the freak shows and sinners on our streets. But if the argument is whether we were founded on Christian principles - the answer is an unequivocal and emphatic YES.
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
If you feel that our nation has so many sinners, then do your small part to spread the word of Christ.
The fact is, you haven't shown a single "Christian principal" in our constitution, so your argument holds no water. The moment you can do that is the moment I take you seriously, otherwise you're just showing me that you are repeating misinformation told to you by someone else.
Think for yourself for a change.

JimFromWaterford 2 years ago
If there's anything we can learn from past elections, it's that the masses are morons and tend to be incapable of putting someone competent into office.
To have a good chance at running for president you have to be a good salesman, and a good liar.
Just look at Obama. He sold those lies brilliantly. Never once did candidate Obama mention anything about a public option, or mandates in his health care reform ideas.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
@LoryLandskipper _ do you put any stock in the Bilderburg claims? Seems Hillary and Obama have been at those meeting, so I've read. If so, that would add their approval before you can even get to the good salesman & good liar stage.
I have also read that the founders, for the most part were Dietists. Is that like an agnostic?
JimFromWaterford 2 years ago
lol no not really.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
Yet, another fact is how people like Mr. Closet Liberal like to do is viciously attack conservatives, their principles, and God....we can all expect this as God said to. But remember this loser liberals!!! God is on our side - not yours. And when your goofy culture of gay marriage and abortion comes crashing down don't come running to us! ;-)
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
How have I viciously attacked conservatives? If anything, I've been very precise about who I've attacked.
Simply saying "viciously attack conservatives" is a strawman argument. You do know what that is don't you? You're making shit up in order to win this "argument."
"God is on our side - not yours." Says the fake Christian.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
Did you know Benjamin Franklin proposed that before each meeting a prayer should be said? It was voted down, however, by the same men who formed this nation. Why would they do that if their ideas were rooted in Christianity, and the nation was to be a Christian one?
I have no doubt Lovin1Country really does love this country, but I also have no doubt he's allowed others to falsely interpret history for him. We can't allow others to rewrite history, period.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
@LoryLandskipper - I can see that point of view. BF's proposal could have been interpreted as a sanctioned religion I believe it was wise to vote that down, for that principal. Personally, I don't see how a prayer could hurt, but using my logic, we could see prayer rugs on the Senate floor, and that's the slippery slope. If you allow one religious prayer, you can't discriminate. That's my argument with the gay marriage thing. If we redefine marriage to encompass gays, we must include others.
JimFromWaterford 2 years ago
You should check out Ron Paul's take on gay marriage. Out of all the "solutions" I've seen, his is the best in my opinion.
Basically, take out the government's role of defining what marriage is. They could recognize contracts and grant divorces, but beyond that, it's not any of their business to tell people who they can and can't marry.
I'm admittedly a Ron Paul sheep. Almost everything he says I agree with. I disagree with him about dismantling the DOE though (maybe I'm just naive.)
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
@LoryLandskipper - DOE? Didn't he want to revert back to the Gold Standard?
JimFromWaterford 2 years ago
I'm talking about Department of Education.
He thinks it's failed and education should be ran by the state, but I think it's just mismanaged. If education were to be ran by the state, Texas could very well be teaching creationism in science class lol
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
@LoryLandskipper - so how do you feel about reverting back to the gold standard, the Fair Tax, regulating the Federal Reserve?
JimFromWaterford 2 years ago
The reason the constitution needs to be amended to protect marriage is because selfish nut-jobs like yourself are not content to rock the boat, you want to sink the ship. And looking forward, Mr. Closet Liberal - you are currently not allowed to marry your PETS!!! I will vote against that as well if people like you ever decide to make an issue of it.
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
You have no clue as to what you're saying. You're like a child repeating what their ignorant hate-filled parents have taught them.
We all live once, why should we take rights away from ANYONE because of something they were born with?
To deny homosexuals the right to marriage is to deny that one is born a homosexual. I bet you think being gay is a choice. That just shows how ignorant you really are.
People like you are the worst thing to happen to the republican party, and this country.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
I never said homosexuals couldn't get married....anyone has a right to marry a member of the opposite sex as long as they are willing to enter into the contract. Bottom line is marriage is betweeen a man and a woman - that's the way it has been and they way it always should be. And, if you don't like it that's just too bad.
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
You're fundamentally wrong about this issue. It's a matter of equal rights.
The government shouldn't define marriage, especially when it discriminates against anyone. This argument that if we allow homosexuals to marry, that the next step is people marrying animals is disgustingly ignorant and hateful.
People like you once thought another certain group of people in this country shouldn't have equality...
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
OK - let the churches decide which is the only place a marriage can take place. They're still screwed. LOL!!
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
The churches would call it marriage, but the government would call it civil union, and a civil union could be granted to anyone who desired it.
Oh but wait, the next step is people marrying animals right? lol.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
FASTEN your seatbelts Loser Liberals!!! There's more!!
John Quincy Adams, son of John Adams, was the sixth U.S. President.
He was also the chairman of the American Bible Society, which he considered his highest and most important role. On July 4, 1821, President Adams said, "The highest glory of the American Revolution was this: it connected in one indissoluble bond the principles of civil government with the PRINCIPLES OF CHRISTIANITY."
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
No, I'm the best to happen to the Republican party. It's people like you who try tinkering with history and removing God from the public concious.
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
You still haven't shown a shred of evidence that the constitution has anything strictly Christian in it. How can you say I'm tinkering with history when I'm using facts to back my point?
I don't want to remove God from public conscious. I personally would like to spread Christianity to everyone I meet. You have no idea what you're saying right now.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
No ain't proved jack! Yet you spew it liked a busted sewer main during a salmonella outbreak at a DNC convention! All you do is bounce around like a fairy on other peoples arguments saying "No it's not!" "No it's not!", The 10 commandments don't mean anyhing, 35 Christians writing the damn thing doesn't matter, GOD being on our currency doesn't count so what the hell more do you want Mr. Closet Liberal?!?!?! LOL!!!
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
You haven't shown a single shred of evidence that backs your claim that our nation was founded on strictly Christian principals.
All you've done is accused me of being things I'm not, only because I speak the truth, and back my truth with facts. People like you HATE facts.
What haven't I been clear about?
Using "In God We Trust" on our currency as proof we were founded on Christian principals is absurd and I've shown you why.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
Was Patrick Henry a Christian? The following year, 1776, he wrote this "It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religion, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For that reason alone, people of other faiths have been afforded freedom of worship here."
Need any more than that?? I think I'll take Patrick's words over those of any modern day closet liberal loon any day!!!
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
Well actually, as it turns out, nobody has ever been able to locate this quote in any of his papers. It's considered as much as a forgery as the real thing.
You don't need to take my word for it though. You just probably found something on the internet and used it (as I tried to do one time with the same exact quote.)
The quote is a popular one because nobody really knows where it came from, but people stress that he said it. My professor recognized it immediately actually.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
And I bet your "Professor" with his infinite wisom, is a liberal as well.....hahaha Most of them are now-days. And you don't think anything based on religion wasn't stripped from the public conciousness in the last 40-50 years? You would have to be dumber than a stump.....
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
The past 40 to 50 years? Did you not see where I showed you how "One nation under God" was added in 1954, and "In God We Trust" became the nation's motto in 1956?
What is the matter with you?
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
Yes, and it's currently under attacks from Liberals to get rid of it, along with the 10 commandments!! You've yet to tell me WHY the 10 commandments were placed in our courtrooms all across the country? Why were they ever put there?
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
Well it was during the red scare that we put "one nation under God" into our pledge as well as made "In God We Trust" our national motto.
It was also in the 50's that the majority of ten commandments displays you see today were donated by the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Other displays the 50's, but none of the displays go back to the days of the founding of our country. Almost all were placed during the 20th century and almost all are on city or county property, not state or federal.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
Other displays predate the 50's *
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
The supreme court building, built in 1935, displays the ten commandments, but since the full text isn't there, they were classified as "artistic depictions."
Read up on what's depicted in the large frieze inside the supreme court. It's interesting to note that the only religious book depicted in the entire frieze is the Koran. Can you believe it?
On the back of the building, there's a sculpture of Confucius, Moses and Solon. Moses in the middle holding blank tablets.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
Now consider these words from George Washington in his farewell speech:
"It is impossible to govern the world without God and the Bible. Of all the dispositions and habits that lead to political prosperity, our religion and morality are the indispensable supporters. Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that our national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle."
Get that?
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
Typical you would spread more misinformation, wanting to rewrite history. That quote isn't accurate at all, and the proof is obvious if you read the actual source.
Go ahead and do a little research. You'll find what parts of that quote are bogus and when you do, you'll see how using it doesn't support your argument at all.
Don't you get it? People have purposely misinformed you in order to manipulate you.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
OK - THEN PRESENT THE ACTUAL QUOTE. AND PROVE YOURS IS ACCURATE AND MINE IS FALSE. Which I'm sure you can't.
Quick tip young American conservatives - loser liberals are nothing to be afraid of. But If the Islamic Fanatics don't destroy our country then they will!!! And they can easily be stopped.
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
It's funny you should tell me to do such a thing.
Go google "george washington's farewell speech" and then search for the sentences in the quote you posted. Once you read them in context (if they are even present) you'll see how telling me to present "the actual quote" doesn't make much sense.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
Here's George Washington's whole farewell speech:
en wikisource org/wiki/Washington%27s_Farewell_Address
Now, any rational and intelligent person, once they saw how they were manipulated into spreading misinformation, would step back and really think about whether or not the source they were using is credible. You won't though, I know you. I know people LIKE you. This isn't about me showing you how and why you're wrong, it's about you willingly giving in to a delusion and clinging to it.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
Oh I see - everything I posted are misquotes yet you use Wikipedia are your CREDIBLE knowledgebase?!?!? Keep in mind, loser liberals, all the info on Wikipedia can be submitted by ANYONE and twisted by anyone.
Looks like Mr. Closet Liberal is getting testy with m!! I love when liberals slip into a complete RAGE when facts are presented or things presented that might distort their twisted views.
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
This comment is pretty funny in a few ways. First, instead of googling something like "george washington's farewell speech" you chose to dismiss wikipedia as a bunch of liberal lies. I literally am crying from the laughter.
Secondly, you say I'm slipping into a complete rage, but really I'm starting to see just how irritated you're getting. Oh, but I must be raging because of all the "facts" you've posted here. Wait, what facts again? Twist that comment back around on yourself :)
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
What about this fact - where he says national morality is not possible without religious principles? You don't think this is a foundation of his beliefts, or a foundation of this country he helped build??
"Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle."
Explain.
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
Well first off, his entire statement showed he understood that people can be moral but at the same time refute the existence of God. That's why he said that "we must indulge with caution the possibility that moral virtue can exist apart from religion." He never RULED OUT the possibility.
So basically, he never said it was impossible to be moral without God, but he definitely urged that the citizens of the nation could use all the help they could get to be so. Make sense?

THIS IS YOUR LUCKY DAY MR. CLOSET LIBERAL - READ CLOSELY!!!

LOL!!! You want sterile-minded and pre-programmed?? Look in the mirror! All liberals are this way.
Lovin1Country 2 years ago
I'll dismiss it if it's not factual or doesn't support your argument in any way. Do you even remember what your argument is?
You literally said God was mentioned all over the place in the constitution, but you can't seem to find a single thing to post FROM the constitution to support this argument. Then you tell me I'm twisting facts.
I'm beginning to think you're just willfully ignorant about this stuff.
LoryLandskipper 2 years ago
That's simple - because they didn't want this country to be exclusively for Christian's only. It still does not disprove the fact this country was founded on Christain principles!!! Why does this anger you so much Mr. Closet Liberal??

The basis of all Western law stems from Greek and classical Roman law, which were not influenced by Judaism or Christianity at all. English law is based on pre-Christian Anglo-Saxon and Roman law.

JimFromWaterford 2 years ago
laugh all you want about Pelosi. I hate her as much as you do. She is own by big pharma. Then again so is Sarah Palin. Both parties suck with few exceptions
imaginepeace63 2 years ago

LouieArrighi 2 years ago
@LouieArrighi - HOLY SHIT! You win! I have found the person that is perfectly ignorant! Everything you said was not only wrong, but completely baseless. You shame yourself, your family, your race and humanity. At this point, you would be doing the world a favor to simply, kill yourself. Your very existence is a void that the rest of us must fill. It would be an amazing trip to walk in your shoes to feel what it's like to exist as a less than zero worth entity, but then I would need a shower.
JimFromWaterford 2 years ago
Teaparty lost all respect when they let her speak. She stands for everything the constitution tries to protect us from. Monsters like her have no place in paving a better future.

JimFromWaterford 2 years ago
God no hes a brainless moron. I don't want Sara "the Nazi" plain in charge as much as I don't want Obama in charge. There are better people to lead a revolution. I don't want to replace one tyrant with another.

@facemobb954
sarah palin is greedy? a greedy bitch?
do you work for free?
would you give a speech if you were payed hundreds of thousands? should she not establish financial security for her and her family?
maybe she should have buckled under the media scrutiny then you could laugh at her and call her a quitter and a dumb bitch...sound about right?
theMETALDOVE 2 years ago
@facemobb954 - as greedy as the Reid Pelosi agenda? They are pushing an agenda that only about 29% favor, that will negatively impact every American with increased taxes and reduced coverage. I'd say that's much more greedy, almost downright evil!

Being that this is one of the most blatantly populist speaches I have heard since 2008 and that she was actually PAID over $100,000 to make this appearance not to mention her past record - this is actually a win for the libtards since Palin is nothing more than another closet libral republicrat corporate lapdog.

She should have aborted his motherfucking ass.

She knew the day that the doctors put him in her got damn hands he wasn't a got damn thing. LMFAO She and that crazy baby will never sleep in the white house.
WasillaWhore 2 years ago
I like how Palin and the TEA party members blame every economic problem facing America on Obama. Who had the White House for eight years 01-09and for 20 of the last 30 years? Who controlled Congress for 12 years? Who enacted irresponsible tax cuts? The main reason America is in the poorhouse is because of the flawed economic policies of the GOP. I hope the GOP win back Congress in November. Two years of these right wing amnesiacs will surely deliver Obama a second term just like Clinton.
densaner77 2 years ago
@densaner77 - You seem to forget that the Democrats have had control of the House and Senate since Jan. 2007. Isn't that precisely when the wheels fell off the cart? Weird AND ironic, isn't it? Wasn't it also the Dems who sat on their hands while the economy was failing faster and faster? Wasn't it Comrade Pelosi who blocked every recovery effort Bush made in his final year? Weird AND ironic, isn't it? Wasn't it the Dems who decided to convene Congress for a month as the Housing market fell?
JimFromWaterford 2 years ago
@JimFromWaterford. Yeah so it's all Pelosi's fault now? Your response is typical of the GOP. Who allowed Lehman Bros. to collapse? Republicans NEVER admit responsibility for anything. It's the Liberal Media or it's the Democrats. The changes that brought about this economic calamity were Republican measures. The last Democrat President left a national surplus. The last three Republicans left America deeply in debt. It's economics Jim but not as we know it.
densaner77 2 years ago
the false left/right paradigm working like a charm... score aother one for the republicrats and corperate interests while the people argue partisan politic amongst themselves and get nothing...
PS - the body 'known' as congress hasnt RE convened absent a quorum since 1861 and the wheels fell off the cart on jekyll island almost 100 years ago.
Even Ron Paul calls for audit but never mentions the illegality of the ENTIRE OPERATION from its inception!
highwaysong007 2 years ago 2
I agree 100%, but I can't wait to see all of the educated, progressive, smug, elitist, arrogant democrats lose their jobs. I hope the right got the message and the left is dessimated in November.
