@lunarbuni omg lol this one is rubbish i think the new glee one is the best now. anyway! for this one a put it on full coz i used to love the way iut sounded.. now i like alot less lol. and for this i just put what the key of the song was into it. but if u want perfection u can do it by hand but takes hours. coz somtimes there are accidentals or key changes that can mess things up so u either find another key that the section works in or do it by hand. gimme a shout if u need more info!

@101101101hiphop it was on max! but i think i tried to sing to avoid it sounding wobly. i dont do that now just best to sing out and put it on a lower setting just anuff to make it sound chrispy :)

@akr1sh its a plug in.. to most multi track recording software... there 1 that comes with logic pro or u can by evo auto tune.. and theres a few others.. but u wont find it on any old multi track software

:P I wasn't so much bothered about the why, those would likely have been my reasons for making an assumption, I was more focused on the point of the statement, being "does it matter?". The reason being that in my view, there's no universal behavioural indicator that points to someone being gay or straight. You get a lot of guys singing songs by females and vice versa because of their own singing styles, vocal range etc. Apologies if my earlier comment seemed stand-offish.

That's fine and all, but my point was more that why does it matter to anyone what sexuality anyone else is? Like with Mika for instance; lots of people posted his videos with questions like "is he gay" and so on. Knowing one way or the other about that aspect of his personal life wouldn't have made any difference to his music, but would have given some people a "reason" to react negatively towards him. @shmuli9 guys in all fairness its used on everythink. katy perrys album as it on all of gagas album has it on glee use it to the max. infact most artist albums have it on just depends if ur ear is trained unuff to hear it. this channel is about using it.. thats the long and short of it. oh and if u go flat with auto tune u can hear it anyway infact makes it more obvious. so u cud tell if i was shit. lol

@rory89 "In all fairness", just BECAUSE it's used on "everythink",does that necessarily make it good? One COLUD say that since "most Soithern states had Jim Crow laws", that they must have been good, or that if "it became the trend" to go naked in every video "it must be OK". I think AutoTune is useful, for people who have the OCCASIONAL off-note, or as sound effects in songs done by people who have proved they CAN sing well.

@shmuli9 well all i can say is that im at a drama school in london doing musical theatre... so kinda proved it there.. its hard to get into those kinda places if u didnt kno.. and i use it not coz of the bum notes. but coz it tightens and chrisps up the vocals... there was kinda no need for ur last msg really....
