Daytimedaily- you are an idiot. The v6 isn't comparable to the v8 mustang year for year. Second the gt 05-10 will still beat the brand new v6. Third the new v6 gets around 28 mpg, my gt with mild mods gets 22/30mpg. So it's better to buy an older v8 and save your money. Plus it's only a power adder away 500hp as opposed to the v6 struggling for 400. Next time think before you spit random things you've heard but don't know. I've also had a 2000 v6 so...

at mustang2005 don't listen to the haters, the V6 is cheaper to buy,mantain,better on gas, plus cheaper insurance. I'll probably get a V6 Stang myself soon. I will say the 4.0's and 3.8 were way underpowered and low tech the new 3.7's are one of the best V6's on the market.

The new 3.7 is lord of all v6s. The new 3.7 is one of if not THE strongest v6 out. And as for the new 5.0...the name speaks for it's self.

Yeah I feel that way to but with gas prices I have considered buying a 2010 v6 and fixing like a GT, also you can get the factory GT exhaust setup on the v6 and it makes no noise so people would never really know.

All you would need is a few bolt ons around $1,000 & it would probably have around 260hp 300tq it would feel like driving a v8, probably run about like a 87-98 GT.

You would save around $12,000 in the end & even more on insurance & gas.

I didn't think so, some people "teenagers / college students" can't afford GT's so they buy used newer V6s... Do you have any idea how much insurance is for full coverage on a 18 year old male?

In the end you save lots of money being young & buying a V6 & it costs about $500 to make it look like a GT. After the first year of buying a v6 you probably save around $12,000 thats alot when you dont make much going to college...

You sir must be a special customer & around the age of 50 married with kids and grand kids. I am married with kids and almost 30 & I will be paying basically $140 a month so a 18 year old male going to school not married with no kids should expect to pay about $215-250 a month for a 2010 GT.
