Such a shame the cameras didn't stay for the 2nd encore, Seven Seas of Rye and See what a Fool I've been. I guess the BBC had a set time to end the show.
I couldn't help the tears from falling down while Freddie was singing so, so beautifully "In the lap of the Gods". They were perfect on stage, all of them. But Freddie had something else.. his carisma, his voice, his depth... I don't know. Actually I feel very jealous of every one who was a kid at that time because they were fantastic, truly amazing, super talented. I don't have words to explain.
The first song is called "Big Spender" and I think it's originally from the musical "Sweet Charity". The other one is "Jailhouse Rock" by Elvis and then they also put in a small piece of "Stupid Cupid" and I'm not sure, but I think it's Connie Francis! :)
thank u soooooo much for the complete uploads...it's been 20 years since freddie's been gone, still miss him..this was rock n roll back in the good ole days..very different from what we hear these days...rest in peace, dear freddie!
I would rather sit at home and watch this than attend any rock concert today. Nothing can match Queen. No one will ever be able to outshine Freddie.
Freddie, rest in peace. It's been nearly 20 years since the world had the privilege of your presence. You were incredible and will always be utterly irreplaceable.
They changed outfits again, lol. I'm mesmerized by all these parts. Freddie's personal story was a bit contrary to his stage persona, but boy, when he got on stage he gave it his all. I'm thinking of these lucky devils in the audience.
She's not letting go of that plastic doll 6:35...lol, nice concert memorabilia.

how is it that queen played a better "jailhouse rock" than any self-righteous blowhard "blues band" ever has?
