30 years ago, I was privileged to be seated in a NYC theater when Ms. Jamison danced to Stevie Wonder's "If It's Magic".
It was an experience I will never forget.
That she is able to express herself and her purpose in life with such eloquence, with such sincerity, is equally moving and is totally consistent with who she is.
Pavarotti used to acknowledge that God had touched his vocal chords. In view of what I have seen, it's safe to say Ms. Jamison has a spiritual dance partner too.
