In a strange way, I understand your remark about Scott Walker and...yes, I think you've scored some cryptic points there. She's definitely one of the most "central" figures of contemporary "avant-popular" music, she acts like a very down to earth hermit, she's probably one of the strongest female characters in music, she masters bel canto and yet apparently she seems not to give a damn, so I guess that's a bit of "walkerism" about her ways.
