Back in te 90s a guy in SoCal did 25th scale resin replicas of this car using factory blueprints, 3 color optionss IIRC, very limited production, $150 new, very valuable models today.

There is one of these that's blue with a white top cruising around where I live iI see him all the time, I thought it was a custom or something. I dunno if its real or a kit but its very clean and they're unique

The 55 had the waffle and ribbed interior like the Corvette.. The car was Chevy's most expensive besides the Corvette.. Then by only 300.00 ! So if you loaded up a Nomad it would cost more than the Corvette.. All Nomads were Belairs, with the 265 V=8 in 1955.....

This is the CONCEPT NOMAD For 1955. Only 2 were built on a 54 Chasis.. The Nomad was originally a CORVETTE STATION WAGON.. The Front and rear of a corvette with originally a sliding roof. Cost was too expensive. So they went with the regular 55 Production.. However, the doors were hardtop styled doors with NO BELT DIP.. Exclusive to the Nomad and Safari wagons.. The Nomad for 55 kept the large wheel well opining in the rear. I had one with factory air!
