thank u for the helpful information there i didnt set the mtu on my router but instead on my connection settings on the ps3 itself very helpful tho i was goin to pay my tech to do it but i said hey youtube has everything and once again it didnt fail me this is y the internet was made for ppl to help one anothr thnks alot guys

@daggyt100 I think it means your PS3 is overheating, try putting it in a place where it can get enough air to cool down.

Another tip: try to keep all other computers connected to your router switched off when playing online games, that's so your broadband bandwidth will not be shared out

@GopherViolence well its a Asus wireless router and it seems like during winter my internet works better

@wilderboy180 Like most routers, the Asus default username is admin and password is admin. Hopefully you will be able to get into your router and change the MTU setting now as per the video.

@wilderboy180 hey man, you obviously need to put in the sername and password. It is often a generic username from your ISP. Give them a call if your normal password doesn't work. I didn't mention tis as I thought it was self explanatory.. obviously not ;) Good luck. Give me a shout when you've done it, we'll test it!!!
