prophotodude, are you kidding me our people don't know the diference between shit and honey. what are you talking about. they only know khiga yaghora another word for it is dancing like monkeys up and down. and you are asking them ? like that. they only listen to kordish arabic turkish and persian songs that is they only music they understand. khon don't bother your self.
Wow, I have not heard Jermain's songs in a long time. I miss her music. I want her to come out with a CD with all her hits. Jermain was the best female Assyrian singer.
Jermain was ahead of her self and also ahead of this nation. She always wanted our nation to have the best music defenately better than Khigah. Her music will be understood oh maybe about 50-100 years from now.
Azzaria64 I agree. but hey at least our 100 singers areon one page and united in keeping kordish songs alive and well. I understand jermain is very upset at this nation and she cannot stand them. for she worked very hard for them and she was not treat right. I had sugested she sings the same kordish songs but she refused.like you said it is VERY SAD that we lost a talant like hers.but, what do we expect from an uneducated nation.
Here's a song I've always felt describes the deepest, most innate human feelings, combined with a human's relationship with the creator. It got away from the true fame it deserved, certainly premature for our nation's ears.
This song does not belong here,it should have been there with great international artists, music arrangment is just like those classics, that's why nobody is commenting to it because it's beyond Assyrian's understanding of music, we are stuck in one kind of music (khiga) which is the main reason that limits our creativity. IT IS SAD...we have 100 singers whom do this type of music I mean Khiga...but how many are singing something like this song? no one because it's hard to do.
