Uhm, no they aren't. There's no way you can build ammonia from natural gas. Natural gas is methane - CH4. Ammonia is NH3. You can't create the required nitrogen out of thin air.

The actual source of ammonia is nitrogen gas (NH2), which is converted to ammonia in an industrial process called the Haber process.

This is just one of many facts of which Michael Ruppert is conveniently ignorant.

@yoctocb That ist incorrect. The nitrogen in NH3 comes from the N2 in the air. 78 % of the air are N2!

The Hydrogen comes indeed from CH4 (natural gas)

The carbon (C-Atom) of the natural gas is burned with the left over O2 from the air.

CH4 + O2 -> CO2 + 2H2 (natural gas burned with very little Oxigen)

N2 + 3H2 -> 2 NH3

That are the reaktions of the Haber-Bosch-Process slightly simplified

Even if Peak Oil is false,which is HIGHLY unlikely, its better to be on the safe side and be prepared for collapse of a society dependent on oil & hyperinflated money/credit that does not PHYSICALLY EXIST anywhere near as much in worth as the credit say it does. Have heard Part I of Mr. Ruppert's excellent lecture. What I ponder is the following: if Peak Oil is categorically undeniable as Ruppert insists, then what's the gist regarding the mammouth findings near Gull Island in Alaska, the 503 billion barrel source in the Bakkens (western Montana & eastern N. Dakota), and the 2 trillion barrel discovery deep within the Rockies? These three aforementioned soucrces could hold us over for decades, yet there's not a peep about them. Food for thought!

Aren't these shale and other deposits that would take years to be marketable and never produce at a level that would make up what we lose from conventional sources? I just awoke myself about 10 days ago, and ya, WOW is right.

Its just so hard I think for educated people to "snap" out of it. It also seems that when we do, its just so much of a revelation, many tend to reject out of pure fear.

I think we need to be fearless and face what is real. My parents are in thier 60's and refuse to acqknowledge what I feel is the obvious. But after so much conditioning, I guess it's just that much tougher for them to see the light.
