it was a toy commercial made in 1986 after the first movie was made. Convoy is the word the japanese used for Prime. It was a teaser for Rodimus Convoy, i.e. Rodimus Prime.

Its for the third season's japanese dub, Transformers 2010 - and they didn't get the movie over there at that point, hence the emphasis on Prime (Convoy in Japan) 's death.

Apparently, you're missing the table for the feast here.

What any robot fan would want are cool, kick-ass alien mechas with sweet battle armor 'Armored Core style', they DON'T want half-assed, generic, bug-eyed monsters with exposed gears, cables,& wires sticking out. That's NOT consistent, & That's NOT realistic.

That's the whole damn point. If you know about robots, you wouldn't had use the Pure-Card on this issue if you were using it which seems likely.
