  • Does this mean that mere mortals outside of the gliding club may use the airfield?

  • @DinoDoesStuff @DinoDoesStuff The airfield is used by a number of resident (tenant) aviation organisations who operate 'in common', to an operational model which integrates the variety of air traffic well and gives priority to the the SAR helicopters.

Visiting pilots are welcome 7 days a week - hosted either by Britten-Norman (FlyBN) at the Tower, or by the tenant organisation that they are visiting.

Search "Lee Flying Association" for more info and contact details.

  • @IntoTheBlueAgain1 Thanks. That is good to hear - a great facility like this should be much more flexible and open to use. It would be excellent to see a flying school back in operation from the airfield.

  • Very nice video,

I did my internship in that aerodrome, in the TAS hangar (I think they no longer operate).

I have put an answer video when I landed there with the XXX's plane. I can't remember the name but I recognize him in the 3:33, the man on the left.

Do you know him? I wish I could contact with him. Is he still with the fuel truck?

  • @aireymar @aireymar Hi, thanks. Lee Flying Association now operate Hangar B. Google Lee Flying Association for their website, then checkout the Contacts link on the left hand side (I'm sure the person you are thinking of is listed there).

  • @aireymar Mr. Coppin and he still does the fuel :)

  • Great video! 10/10
