  • How ironic the firmname is.

  • Next up: Power Armor! :D

  • can i haz one for my Mjolnir armor?

  • Duh... its fucking Japan... why are we surprised by this? lol

  • does it mean you can run faster and longer?

  • Cyberdyne?! THE CYBERDYNE?! As in the Terminator movies' Cyberdyne?! Whoa! So begins the end of the world! All this while we thought Cyberdyne was an Amercian company.... Ah, the irony...

  • @Tigadee00 Are you really surprised? The Japanese have been designing robots for decades. What, did you think it was all anime or something?

  • @crazy4sian Well, if that were true, we'd see Mobile Suits all over the world by now - Japanese-designed, mass produced in China and stomping the streets of capitals all over the globe... It'd be Japanese Imperial aspirations all over again! But these suits make a lot of sense considering the growing aged population in Japan now, and many other countries with the same aging population problems can benefit from this technology, for sure.

  • @Tigadee00 I can see a lot of that happening here in the States too, but I'll be damned if someone uses it just because they're too fat to walk on their own.

  • imagine how much better this will be in about 50 years!

  • @BADWOLFRYAN1 Probably sooner than 50 years...These kinda suits were out around 2005-2006, and they already look a bit different now - less bulky, better batteries and who know what other improvements? Sensors? On-board computers? Don't be surprised if we see these on the streets in 10 years, the way technology progresses these days...

  • @Tigadee00 I hope not. People would become MUCH lazier and fatter. I say these stay reserved for hospital, construction, and community use only.

  • @Tigadee00 Don't be over ambitious, remember when they said that we'd have robot servants by 2000?

Plus, products take off globally when there is a majoring need or want for them, why would I use this? I'm home exercised in an improvised gym, Whatever I need in strength and speed, I can get from my car and myself.

  • wtf cyberdyne? is that real or a joke?

  • I think it's incredible that it can actually let someone whose lower body is paralyzed walk and go upstairs. This would be a miracle for those who can no longer walk.

  • grannies? lol! soldiers will use this!

  • @dace002 Typical American. Can't you think of anything other than war for once? Try turning off your XBox for a change.

  • @crazy4sian

    first, i am not american.

second, i don't have a x-box and don't find pleasure with "soldier games"

third and most important: have you ever taken a look into the real world? every useful invention was, is and will be used for military purposes. They kill people to reach their aims, so why shouldn't they use technology like this???

by the way, they are developing thins like this:

    watch?v=-UpxsrlLbpU

  • @dace002 I'm in the military, and while I agree that this technoloy will be useful for carrying heavy loads, I find more practicality with this in hospitals, construction, and humanitarian aid.

To disprove you, though, the most useful invention is electricity. because everybody can use it, not just the military.

Too bad you're only a war junkie who talks big on the internet, huh?

  • @dace002 The military will probably use it more for the engineering corps but if they do use it for a combat role, then so what? There are also budgetary concerns to worry about as well because losing equipment in battle costs a lot more than losing a person. The military isn't composed of just infantry troops so it would make sense to have power assisted frames given out to military personelle who have more of a utility role (like the engineer corps, field engineers etc.) than to infantry.

  • over 9000 internets to the one who came up with the background music.

  • can i still one

  • This is called HAL and its from Cyberdyne?? IT IS GOING TO KILL US ALL!

  • Okay, now the next step is: making it thin as normal cloth for people to use, then we would have some power armor in there.

  • this is SO going to be abused by the military as exoskeleteon

  • alright, the americans already have their exoskeleton (used for war purposed) but, it's powered by electricity and has no batterypack, and it's cumbersome. sooo i guess their going to improve and heighten their exoskeleton using this HAL suit. this is very likely and very sad.

  • Wait, wait, wait. A company called Cyberdyne is making robot exoskeletons. Where have I heard this before?

  • @robotpanda77 too bad arnold is already a governor

  • oh my science!

i guess lourdes's really fucked now:)

  • nous entrons enfin en l'an 2000,,merci cyberdyne,et en plus pour utilité public.!!!!!

  • its just gonna get people fatter

  • 0:22 Maximum strength.

  • the americans first idea about this is "how could we use against people" while the japanese first think of "how could we use it for the people".

  • why they use names HAL from space odyssey and CYBERDYNE from terminator for god sake? they havent fantasy to create names for company and product. HAL and CYBERDYNE are both symbols of danger from technology. strange company politics

  • @mjkl1978

maybe because they re big fans of science fiction? But you re right this is quite weird move

  • i wants one ;p

  • Great!

  • Soon, pretty soon we'll see SPACE MARINES walkin' ON the street!

  • @sleirylover

fuck that, ill be playing iron man :D

  • no u wont, well its unlikly,i seen some pictures, costumes most likly, but what i TRULLY meant is that all is not as it seems, the future doesnt happen unless YOU make it happen,we must be the change we wish to see in the world-jesus

because theres vested intrests who dont want it to happen, for instance a mechanics whole job is fixing broken cars,if cars were made so well that they didnt break like all the time, then theyd be unmechanicemployed, and thats just a SMALL intrest, were not even talkin

  • about the oil companies who would lose thier biollion trillion dolaw(god knows)monopoly,as for power armour,do u think the military/industrial/govt/pharmaceutical complex would stant 100ds of millions of super soldiers?how would they get thier eilegal direct tax money from people?how would they enforce absolute open faschism?!think open your hearts/mind

  • Did a squirrel got stuck in your fingers while typin?

Guess what, if we make the suits powered by oil leftovers imagine how happy would oil companies be with powered suits. By the other hand, imagine all the bucks in medicine that non power-suited militaries will spend in meds and heavy guns. Lets say, Uh-merika makes the meds and guns, while their space marines ravages other militaries. Not only they make the war, but make the bussiness.

Just like Irak! THAT'S OPENIN' YOUR CAPITALIST MIND!

  • 0:34 Powered exoskeletons for pensioners? "I AM IRON GRAN!"

  • @Cruithne3753

    lol good one :P

  • now we just need to strap armor on this and were are set to go.....

  • @SomeRandomText you forgot GLaDoS, she invented Prosthetics before any of them, P0RTAL RIP-OFF!!!

  • Power Rangers are real, so is Cyborgs...and Megaman...Practically anything...

  • isnt cyberdyne from termenater? oh geez i didnt think it was real! :D

  • You should Look up HAL as well ha ha

  • @thepantherx12 whats HAL? :o but ill ook it up

  • This is great! Old man and women could turn into terminators too.

  • lol at 2:45

  • @Rpahut1 hehehe

  • GG Japan, you have doomed us all

  • im not sayin its a bad thing, cause it would help my cousins walk... but I ALWAYS KNEW IT WOULD BE JAPAN TO CREATE TERMINATORS...

TAKE IT AWAY, STEWIE! "What the DEUCE...?"

  • ha...ha...the CEO has a sense of humor.

  • Fucking Japanese trying to make terminators.

  • They're not the only ones..

  • @salamirterra who cares humans are obsolete machines are supirior

  • Maybe to you :P

  • its true humans get tired they ask for money food water so on they complain they take up to much space the fight wars over childish things they are prejudice twords fellow humans even though the only difference between you and the guy stand next to you is skin color other then that your all the same humans cant do anything them selves

  • Well, I'll look forward to seeing a toaster discover a cure for cancer.

  • its simple to avoid it stop mating with people who have genetic flaws eat healthy dont stay in the sun to long dont smoke don't take drugs plus a man in a barn found a cure faster then those scientist insert gold particles in area exposes to microwaves are has no more cancer person has no damage

  • Well, I'll look forward to people actually thinking though it wont happen

  • A man in a barn found a cure. You're a fucking moron, really :P.

I take it back; toasters are more advanced than at least one person.

  • im not a moron its true but gold cost a alot of money plus no body cares about you anyways oh well you die woopy doo a few thousand new borns replace the amount that die

  • No it's not true. You only believe it's true because you're a moron.

  • look it up its called the FDA if they dont get money from it or they think it isnt safe then you wont have it they only approve medicines that are 1 safe 2 been tested and 3 make money if # 3 isnt met 1 and 2 have no purpose

  • like DCA its one of them but FDA wont let you have it

  • dont know why im arguing I could care less about people

  • At least japan sits on the trilateral commission with the US Europe and Canada so we won't be the ones they kill

  • omg.... i cant help to think that...if a private foundation made something as amazing as this.... then... the jap military probably havee.........

    OHH NOESSS... THEY HAVE GUNDAM!!!

aaahhhh ! were DOOM.... we need MECH WARRIOR NOWW!! ..loll

  • wow thats cool but has any one thought of the company name cyberdyne like from terminator lol and they make robot parts too kinda creep y but interesting
