even if this teacher is acting or not, this is how teachers in my school and all the teachers i had in extra courses have been with me,they are rough and direct,and sometimes you end up crying.
This was so good! I was captivated and angry but at all times fully engaged. This piece was brilliant and I believed all the characters. I wish I could act like this.
If this is acting, what is the purpose of the piece? To portray the abuse of a young woman by a disturbed man?? I don't hate the teacher I just think that there are other effective ways to show actors how to be truthful. Also I am an adult and I consider to pay someone to teach me the craft on acting based on respect. To me Acting isn't bootcamp I have my gym for that.
I think what the gentleman fails to realize and express to (what seemed like new actors) is That Acting is "A STATE OF MIND" Its about Innocence, Imagination and Vulnerability. Its about practicing the potential qualities that you were born with. The less you think like an actor and the more childlike and innocent you are, the more productive and in the moment you will be.

It's not easy to play 'bad actor'. The switch she does between that and the natural-ness of her acting when she's just the character in the class is really very good. For me it was good because it made me follow the action, rather than just be impressed. She's good.

Film acting is all about the camera and what's going on outside yourself. It's not acting.... it's about re-acting in the moment to those people and things around you, as yourself, so that the character can come to life inside you. 1) Film teachers are payed to make people better at acting. They know good acting and how to fix bad acting. 2) He is acting, which is why there are credits at the end.
Try to make sure you know what you are talking about before you go on a rant. It will save you a lot of effort (and it will probably keep your period key from disintegrating from over use).

This is like The Black Swan, a virgin traying to look like she is not a virgin. And a perv teacher taking advantage of the moment. I don't know why Tha Black Swan became so famous, if after watching it I had the same awkward feeling I have here. The difference is that this made me laugh a lot. This is like The Black Swan, a virgin traying to look like she is not a virgin. And a perv teacher taking advantage of the moment. I don't know why Tha Black Swan became so famous, if after watching it I had the same awkward feeling I have here. The difference is that this made me laugh a lot. The director of this short film said his intention was to make everybody laugh...so in my opinion this has achieved more than the Black Swan.

okay, just saying. I thought they all did fantastic. I had never heard of this short film but i thought it was an actual acting for the camera class, hence why i clicked the movie to watch it. The teacher was a prick, yes, but he did a damned good job of being one. The girl, great job, and the other guy, all did phenomenal. Great story for a short clip.

This couch is a serious prick, there are many things he said that are true in regards to acting but the way he couches and behaves is that of an ARROGANT PRICK AND A CONTROL FREAK! nope. this is definitely a skit. and very unfortunately and perhaps intentionally it was very hard to watch. Not poorly filmed, or too poorly acted just a very awkward premise. The teacher is not likable and none of the characters are particularly interesting.
I do know some teachers that act similar to this and it's really not fun to watch.
