memphis is cool its just not this way. the song talks about gospel on beale and just isnt that way. we have bars here and clubs and a few grills but memphis has changed jurasticaly over the years. if i didnt live here id probably think otherwise but beale, in all blunt honesty, is mainly just drunk people and crack heads. its gotten so bad that cops are on patrol there 24/7. its like that practically everywhere here. besides a few calm and safe neighborhoods its just drugs and gangs.
