Anyone here ever took there restriction out????? I'm getting a 650 bandit but not gona bother putting it in! Just sold my 2000 r6 because insurance was £1400 where's a 2006 650 bandit is £247 :-) what would the cops do if they think it's not?? Would they take the bike straight away or tell you to go to a garage???? Thanks!

wenn man die srad dann fahren will und nich 25is oda grad sein schein gemacht hat kann man sie fahren mit 34ps zieht immer noch jede 125er möhre um weiten ab(jetzt kommt mir nich mit der RS125 die hat für die A1 fahrer eh nur 15ps) ich fahr ne fzr600 mit 34ps un bin übertrieben froh das ich nich son 125er müll hab

Nungut meine ist offen, aber ich habe schon so einigen anfängern geraten erst mal ein paar Sicherheitsfahrstunden zu nehmen, und ihre ersten Maschinen, trotz des offenen Scheins, erst mal auf 34 PS zu Drosseln. "Denn Sie wissen nicht was sie tun"....Irgendwo find ich es auch unverantworltich, seitens des Gesetzgebers, Führerscheine auszustellen, die mehr wie die 25kW beinhalten.
@Quinniboy Da mag sicher jeder denken was er will, aber einen Fahranfänger auf eine 120 PS Maschine zu setzen, ist grob fahrlässig. Ich bin froh, dass ich während meiner Fahrzeit noch nie einen Sturz hatte. Auch wenn ich gern mal das Limit der Maschine ausreize...dies allerdings nur auf der Rennstrecke. Im normalen Straßenverkehr...auch Autobahnen...ist es mir persönlich einfach zu riskant die 300km/h Marke anzukratzen...dafür sind die Straßen für Motorräder einfach nicht gemacht.

i have also a gsxr srad 600 from '98 25kw on paper, when cops check me everything is fine. so they can do it.. and some people tell other that 25kw is like a lady bike.. but thats nonsense.. i'v hit the 200km/h i can do a wheelie on it.. it's great, still can hit 110 in 1e gear. so it's great. and indeed.. after 2 years it's a beast.. SRAD is one of the fastest 600 bikes.. so great!
indem man den schalthebel vorlastet, dh leicht nach oben drückt WÄHREND man (stark) beschleunigt und dann wenn die gewünschte drehzahl erreicht ist, schnell vom gas runter und sofort wieder vollgas. also den gasgriff schnell zurück und wieder vordrehen. dann springt der nächste gang sofort und ohne mucken rein.
I think on planning to buy a GSXR600 but i've heard they can only legally tune it down to 25kw when the buildingyear was later than 2003? Is this true? Wicked bike nonetheless, also a plus is that you don't have to buy a "heavy" bike when you have your licence for 2 years. Just remove the limiters and goooooooo :D
it's the law, here in holland, we can't help it. full power is allowed when you're above 21. OR when you have 2 years of your drivingexperience on a 25kw-bike.(with license ofcourse) So when this guy turns 21, or the day that he has his drivinglicense 2 years, first thing he'll do wil be getting lost of his 25kw-kit. (just like me, I got a zx6r with 25kw, just a fast/slow)
well, 125cc is just so small, thin, less torque at higher speed, etc. but steering is better.
But, on the highway I got a saver feeling on a 600cc bike, a real motorcycle. than on a 125cc bike. like a tuned mopet. and by the way. 125cc is most of the time 2takt. what gives a lot of maintenance. every 10.000 km new swabs, piston pens etc. And after to years, I get rid of the 25kw-kit and drive full power without buying a new bike
ahm furthermore u should not switch to the 5.and 6.gear so early, u will lose speed!! much speed!! rev up the engine til 10trpm and then change up! u ll see
not bad,restricted to 33bhp and it still does 0-60 about 5 secs,maybe just under and hits a ton in 19secs or so.....not bad at all!!!!a lot faster than my 1.2 8valve punto,lucky if it hits 60mph in that time lol!!!!!

Just did 180 on the highway in 5th gear (10K RPM)
Bike kept accelerating. Should be able to do 200+ according to dealer.

@Pepsilight2kcal 2000. This is an old vid, now it's not 25kw anymore much better.
with 25 kw shift up around 9k, making more revs is useless because it doesn't deliver power.

die 600er srad geht 200kmh mit 34ps, einfach mal ausdrehen, schneller schalten (ohne kupplung)
