  • Love YOU!

  • With lash grip my eyelashes always comes off!!! Would you recemend hair bonding glue for eyelashes?

  • Does eyelash glue take ur real lashes out???

  • Thank you! I thought I was an alien or somthing after spending 7 bucks on DUO and it did not stick to my lids AT ALL.....NONE. I tried for an hour. I finally gave up and used my Revlon glue and had them on in about 4 minutes. I was not happy. Don't believe the hype......DUO sucks.

  • Thank u sharing that, because I thought that Duo was the top of the line... WOW!

  • I have both duo and lash grip. Wow they are the same..at mac they sell duo for 8 bucks

  • I AGREE with you . You're sooooo right .

  • Okay...I can't even lie. I'm soooo pissed. I buy the clear glue by ardell in the tube like the black one you have. Last week I decided to try duo...I could of save over 3 dollars at Sallys. Thank for the tip.

  • UGGH SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT LASH GRIP FIRSTTTT.

  • Cool video! Thanks

  • thnx

  • your hair color is beautiful! what color is that? can it purchased at a store or did u get it professional done?

  • Comment removed

  • LashGrip is cheap, and it do the good jobs!! love it sooo much :)

  • wonderful girl!!! you are really good at what u do. thanks for the info

  • NOPE i use hair glue! lasts 3 weeks!

  • thanxx

  • lol!! this is awesome i always use lash grip

  • Is latex glue the same as bonding glue? When I wear my strip lashes, I use the hair bonding glue along the strip, does the job and comes off easily at the end of the night, it does not take any of my lashes with it. I love the individuals, however, the hard glue weakens and sheds my own lashes. Like weaves, braids etc, too much use of extensions of any kind tends to ruin your god given attributes so I stick to temporary style lashes. Thanks for your advice. You look gorgeous

  • You're a smart woman. Thanks for the info.

  • sidenote: it lasts a long time a little goes along way! i've had this same tube for 7 months and its not gone yet! lol im gonna have 2 throw it out & buy another one cause it lasts so long. dont believe the hype more $ doesn't always mean ur gonna get better results. this is coming from a product junkie:=)

  • she's right u guys! ive been use the lash grip for yrs and i love it and its cost friendly.

  • I'm thinking about buying my first pair of strip lashes and wanted to know what lash adhesive are suitable for contact lens wearers.

  • What are your thoughts on using boding blue for lashes?

  • Duo is a higher grade of surgical latex glue, lash grip isnt. Same company same ingredients but different quality and different formulas. Also, duo's tube is bigger then lash grip therefore it's not a rip off your just being cheap over 3 dollars.

  • @famousphan ...lol...I guess you got me told huh? I disagree, but thanks for the information.

  • Wow iam so glad that i found you. i am 56 years young. Can u give some anti-aging tips for the lashes and brows

  • thanx that was very helpful..im researching products because im going to be offering eyelash services at our salon very soon and im looking for a long lasting adhesive..thanx alot..very informative!

  • lash grip 0.25oz duo 0.5oz so yeah you're not getting ripped off...In fact I think it's cheaper (by product quantity) to purchase duo...

  • well i think MAC sells the 0.5 oz, while Sally's sell duo in 0.25 oz, so I guess by it from MAC?

  • duo looks bigger? how much bigger is it? it may be worth it..

  • thanks for posting this.. people need to make wiser choices.. the same thing in the medicine aisle.. ex. tylenol cold and sinus is the same as tylenol sore throat.. just simply turn it over to the back, you dont even have to ask any one as long as u are able to read and understand.. they just have a differnt label

  • Thanks, Ebony, for sharing such vital info. GOD bless!

  • How long does the lashes lash with each adhesive?

  • Hi, I saw your tutorial for the individual lashes. I just got some done today for the 2nd time in my life, but i got them done by a diff person. Is it ok to use hair glue to do lashes?? I feel like you can see the glue with mine too much this time around.

  • DOES LASH GRIP COME N A CLEAR FORMULA??

  • Great video - I found the site and they produce a host of similar products. The same goes for laundry products and make up lines!

  • Thanks for the info b/c I was going to go out and buy Duo b/c an instructor said it was a better product!! Thanks again!!!

  • Wonderful information, you are so helpful! I have gone to get my eyelashes done sooo many times and with all your helpful tips I am on my to applying them on my own! Stay blessed ; )

  • Wonderful video!! Thank you for this helpful information. 5 Stars!!

  • ceheck to see if the black hair glue is the same glue for your individual lashes-just an idea and almost a year late :)!!! Keep up the videos they're great!!!!!Be Blessed!!!

  • most people up north use hair glue too ... i did !!! it burns less :)

  • Thanks for saving my pockets. I just ordered some lashes online and I was going to sally's to get DUO tomorrow. Thanks so much for this vid, we all know every little bit helps

  • hahaha oh jesus. i just ran out and bought duo at cvs for $7 last night, i feel like an ass :[ do they make lashgrip in dark tone though? bc that's the duo i got...

  • thank you sweetie:)

  • Girl thank you! I am putting on sum lashes for the first time tomorow and was about to run out and get me sum duo...NOT ANYMORE...lol. Lash Grip here I come.

  • thank you it was helpful :)

  • I use lace wig glue when I do my lashes...Good info...Many companies to rip people off like you said

  • thank you so much you helped alot

    ur beautiful thx ok

  • It's unfortunate that companies do this sort of thing. It's really not necessary b/c the companies are profiting millions anyway off the products.

Thank you for this video. Very informative and has helped me reach my decision on the glue that's right for me in quality and in cost.

  • that is great insight i noticed that also that is so helpful :)

  • very helpful! thanks so much. :)

  • Thanks for the insight. I'm new to fake lashes and have been trying to get as much info as possible.

The other product you were trying to think of are ANDREA lashes. They are made by the same company that also makes Ardell lash products and Duo glue. In addition to that, the company also makes Gypsy Lash and Fright Night products. (Fright Night is a line of cosmetics geared toward Halloween, which includes fake lashes.)

  • Awesome eyes girl!!!! I am going to try my first eyelash soon.

  • And I ALWAYS look at ingrediants on everything lol I started years ago. If you actually watch the news a lot of times they tell you about things like this. That's how i started. Watch the news people!! lol even the stories that aren't necessarily "major" topics. You could learn some good stuff :)

  • Wow. I never tried DUO. I saw Lash Grip in Walmart the first time I bought lashes. I bought it and after I used it I was like I love it and it's cheaper oh this is it for me!! I didn't even realize that when I couldn't find DUO I had actually bought it lol

  • Thank you for posting your informative review... You showed us how to check out products and compare ingredients... I had to laugh at a couple of other reviews on Youtube concerning "Lashgrip" and "Duo"... Funny as heck but at the same time disappointing that the other reviewers never looked past the name of the product.... You checked IT ALL OUT and made an informed choice....Thank you COLOUREDBEAUTIFUL! Keep up the Great Work!!!

  • good vid i went 2 their site and was amazed @ how many products they made

  • Interesting! Thank You!

  • why are they named differently if they are the same???

  • One is priced higher than the other. Companies do it all of the time. They make more than one of the "same" product (an expensive one and a cheap one), that way they make more money. We just don't read the labels on many of the things we buy. I learned to read labels in my marketing class years ago. You'd be surprised!

  • thank you. i live in the UK so cant buy it in shops but luckily i just got hold of it on ebay!! have you got any recommendations for false eyelashes?? i've never used them before!

  • @colouredbeautiful exactly! those are the same glue, I checked the ingredients when I started buying eyelash glue, and noticed that!

  • thanks girl! I never thought to look at the ingredients. I been dying to buy lash glue lately and i couldn't decide which was good. but know i know what to get. thanks alot

  • Thanks so much for the information. :)

  • thanks for the information I will be trying lashes now !!

  • yeah i paid $6.10

  • dang i wish i had seen this video 2 days ago...i got duo ONLY because i heard it was so good. i didnt wanna give up the 6 bucks for it but i gave in and did it

  • How do you handle getting your makeup off with individual lashes? I don't wear a lot of eyeshadow when I wear individual lashes as the makeup is corrective & meant to look as natural as possible (man makeup... if there is such a thing), but even with such little eyeshadow and mascara I have such a hard time cleaning the eye without ripping the faux & my real lashes out. Doing it in the shower is a no go too as the lashes hold on to water more than real hair and get heavy/irritating.

  • This is really helpful! thanks :)

  • where can you get lashgrip?

  • the other brand of eyelashes is called "Andrea" in a yellow packaging. Yes they're all the same. As far as the Duo lash glue goes, yes it's very much the same as Lashgrip only Duo is promoted by MAC and other artist.

  • Thank U 4 doing this VID I was about 2 purchase some DUO frm the MAC counter & it's 8.00. I have been using LASHGRIP. I feel U on the prod comparison I do the same thing hun! Thank U 4 your channel also. I was a die hard MAC fan but thanks 2 U & others here on YT Im starting 2 think outside the MAC! LOL Not 2 say I don't love it still, but Ive been seeking less expensive alternatives ; IE: your vid for the Revlon MSF MAC dupe love it! Thank U for being so informative 2 your viewers! take care!

  • Is the duo surgical glue from MAC the same as the duo eyelash adhesive in the video?

  • No, surgical glue isn't supposed to be used by the eye.

  • Good Video!!

    Thx 4 sharing

  • Great video

  • i work for mac and we sell and use DUO.

the difference is that LashGrip has an acid base that can irritate the hair follicles and skin. It can cause eyelashes to be pulled out when taking eyelashes off. DUO does not have this acid type ingredient and prevents eyelashes being pulled off.

  • Hmmm, that's interesting! The ingredients listed on both products are exactly the same...and so is the company ( listed on the back of each product). Very interesting...but thanks for the comment. Peace.

  • OMG...I use both but I used lash grip the most..I have JUST BEEN SCHOOLED!!!

  • great tutorial! can you do a tut on your look for this video? thanks

  • Your video are so informative. Thanks!

  • GIRL!!!!!!! that is crazy! thank you for this, see, just goes to show you what happens if you dont pay attention or do research. You have def schooled me.

  • Have you thought about doing tuts on hair?

  • I'll eventually put one out there...when I get over feeling silly about it ;o)

  • So glad I stopped by......this is so informative to me. I am just now getting into lashes. I think I want to try individuals next go around.

  • OMG.. I did not know they're the same company. I am so glad I subscribe to your channel, I am learning so much. I use the individual lashes (Ardell Dura Lash) I notice the knot free brand looks really nice. Can't stand the knot..LOL,

    Thankjs for sharing :D

  • I learned about checking the ingredients of name brands against the store brand from my mother. She taught me well. I save a lot of money and get the same quality of wonderful products! Great video as usual!

  • Thanks for sharing,) and helping me save.

  • I think the name is Andrea

  • yep that's it :)

  • Thx for the info. I use lashgrip.

  • Thanks 4 the info. I always use lash~grip. I haven't tried DUO.

  • thanks for the tip! also can you plz do a tut on this e/s look?

  • Girl I have both those glue...Thanks for the review. Ardelle lashes are costly in Sally's, I buy mines from a Beauty supply/0.99 store, they sell them for $1.99 :)

  • I live in northern california and we have a store named Longs Drug store.. I buy both the duo and the lash grip and they both work the same!!! the orginal price is $3.49 but I wait and for the sales of 25% off or BOGO!!!

  • In my opinion Shu Uemura lash glue is the best because it is tacky on contact. No need to wait but it retails for 9 bucks

  • thanks so much for the info i have been experimenting with eyelashes and i when i went to the beauty supply they tried to make me get the Duo but i got the Lash Grip instead as it was much cheaper and girl i am on a budget

  • oooooooo whats that palette at the beginning i want it! where acan i find it
