Brava! I am a novice and sing as a fill in cantor at my church (Mt Carmel POK NY) I sing this everyday just to warm up-I feel it is my way of praying. I love how you use one breath at the last Mo-----ooooo----ooooooortis! I have noticed so many sopranos must "cheat" a second breath. (I have a 62 inch chest so breath is my least problem lol) I do take lessons now and really appreciate the degree of dedication it takes to sound so wonderful. No career ahead for me just church and the odd gig brava

This singer had enough heart and brain to understand that, no matter how beautiful her voice was, the best use of it when singing such a heavenly score, was to sing it exactly as it is, no emotion added - or removed. THIS is perfection.

What a perfect voice for this music! This is the best recording of this angelic music I have ever heard. Deutsche Grammophon should record you. You remind me of young Ute Selbig. I was thinking today that it would be so great to hear you sing Schubert Lieder such as Der Hirt auf dem Felsen or Ave Maria (speaking of which, even the one by Gounod/Bach). Congratulations. I really like that you do not want to sing it as an opera. Many singers are afraid of using less vibrato, I think you found the right balance, and you really sound like an angel.
