Thanks so much for uploading this video. I watch it over and over again, I just can't get enough of it. For me it's the perfect sisters song and video. It's how I know and love them. The're still a great live band. I've had the privilege to see them twice in my home town (Lokeren, Belgium), which was a dream come true... twice!

The band gets its name from either the historic order of nuns called "The Sisters of Mercy," or from the song by Leonard Cohen (I think it's the latter).

And as far as I know, the only female to ever be in the band is the bassist Patricia Morrison, who played on the Floodland album. (You should definitely listen to that--"This Corrosion" is a classic.)

Looked at this in the hope it was Eldritch in purple light at the Lyceum in 1983 on the Black October tour only to find something more recent but I like it alot. Reminds me of Bowie of a certain era with Eldritch's voice, hard edge to the guitar and driving drum beat, just great. Good to see him looming out of the dry ice still, great video (when did he ever have bleach blonde hair, missed that!)

All that can follow is a repeat of what t(he)y did before. This music, in my

eyes is timeless. More timeless than any other group. The reason is the

creativity, like for example the details that make every song unique,

but it although fits into the whole scheme.

I remember years ago when the Sisters released Under the Gun, the Melody Maker reviewer - Chris Roberts, I think it was - wrote that it was the first single he'd heard in ages that he'd felt compelled to play 50 times in a row. This song is exactly like that - I'm hooked. The Sisters have still got it. Or at least they did whenever they made this. Great video too.

@emile235 Thing is, this song has been around since about 1997. Can't believe they haven't seen fit to release it - the record ingquality is certainly good enough. But I guess Mr Eldritch knows what he's doing... If anyone's looking for an mp3 of this track, by the way, go to the Sisters' website as it's on there under videos. There's no video, as it happens, but if you right-click on the audio bar it will let you download. The sound is exactly the same as on here, ie excellent.
