lol did anybody know what lord voldemort means? It comes out of the Latin language; the language that the romans used to speak. 'Valde' means sevear( sorry for the perhaps wrong spelling) or terrible, and 'mors' means death or dead, and mort is the stem of it. So literally Voldemort means 'Terrible Death' or 'Seavear Death'. Imagine that you'd had to say: 'Hello, my name's TerribleDeath, and what's your name?'
