u should use evolution x insted of unleash x, evolution x has lots of better stuff, like game trainers, it has cheats that u cant actually get on regular xbox like halo 2 had unlimited ammo and never die and stuff like that. i prefer evolution x

hey since you have gone that far why dont you mod a bigger hard drive for it. i have a 160 gb in my xbox. i have 32 games on the hard drive and a bunch of space left over. hard drive modding is the hardest part of soft modding.

the easy way to do this is to install the unleashx dashboard through a soft mod then ftp the files across

no. because the hard drive has to be locked. the xbox has a special partition format it has FAT-X not FAT or FAT32 or NTFS so if you format it and put files the xbox wouldnt see the thing. you have to get a xboxhd mod program the makes an iso if the hard drive and you burn that to a disc i recommend using

if you have the "run linux" and "ndure exploit" on your modded xbox, just transfer them in ms dash to the card and then save them on the other box and load run linux(mech assault ver.)

haha nice spot not really my ip address though nice try though. It is just a gateway (your real ip is longer)address the modem gives out if you plugged your xbox to your modem there is a good chance that it would assign those same numbers :) so no worries

Time to learn the sacred art of soldering because doing it with a mac would be a feat worth seeing (sure it possible though). Perhaps if you can get a windows emulator(virtual PC) with an action replay (you pretty much need one anyway) you can use a game exploit. If its a new mac with a intel chipset you can force an optical boot and attach it to a IDE channel, if you have an IDE channel that is.

well, the memory card way is the easiest mainly because thats where the linux is. however i don't think you really need action replay, but if you don't want to take your xbox apart to reach for the HDD than you pretty much can't get around with it. You have to somehow put the installation on the X-Box to install it. It doesn't just create itself.

this is really pretty cool. i have my xboxxx modded, and i love it, but i dont have the custom dash, wish i would have put it on though. (sigh) i have mine modded with an xecuter 2 modchip, and i have the soft reboot too, but it just restarts the game. cool stuff though (now i need to mod my 3600)

When you get on the original xbox dash through your modded dash, you don't need to turn off your xbox in order to return to your modded dash again. Simply hold down both the left and right triggers on the back of the control and press both the back and start buttons all at the same time. It will do a soft reboot to your modded dash.
