Learn to produce music before you go firing off about things you clearly know nothing about. I played piano for 15 yeasr, and guitar for 13. Picked up producing and beatmaking last year. Its not nearly as easy as you would think it is.

I am a huge radiohead fan... but alot of people dont get that.. a cover is not about trying to be like the original.. its about adding ur own style to it.. and making it work for you... This melody i must say is strange and does not in no way capture what the song is about though

It's actually really good, just shy of the genius of the original. The brass is a very nice touch. The only problem is that is doesn't seem powerful enough for the lyrics.

Additionally, I read that the video is a sequel of the original one: it doesn't really seem to fit.

I actually think thhis cover isn't all bad. It's mediorcre compared to the original (ronson lost the 'grit' feeling), but it's definitly a new take on the song. I like hte brass and his kind of a laid back 'drowning' vocals

I agree Radiohead's original was a classic, but I really like this song. It's not a poor cover, it's a great remake in a funk style. I certainly wouldn't say he has ruined a good song, but given it a makeover to appeal to a different audience. I can still listen to the original without thinking of this one.

He has also done a great version of The Smiths song "Stop me if you've heard this one before", again taking nothing away from the original. I am looking forward to his album being released.
