JESUS CHRIST! I Cant believe you lot are arguing over this now...Yeh, its very, very old and this is obviously not the original. How do I know that? Errr, cos there was no recording equipment available in the 16th century! This is a 20th century rendition of one of Britten's best loves tunes...ok?
@jimkirk363 : music by Britten, lyrics by anonymous from 1500. Benjamin Britten was a composer of XX century. Jeff Buckley had arranged this composition in own way.
@jimkirk363 : I've just searched on Wikipedia and so is said: " Singer-songwriter Jeff Buckley included his interpretation of Britten's work on his debut 1994 album, Grace." Therefore: "interpetation by Jeff Buckley" and "Britten's work"...I think it's clear.
@nickast31 It's Ted Huffman. Together with Stephen van Dyck he formed the 'Treble Boys' and in 1993 recorded the CD 'The Treble Boys - Wonder Solos and Duets for Boy Soprano', still available in the shops.
Since i heard Jeff Buckleys version i love this piece!!!

@scantpiper yes but the original was written in 1504

@jimkirk363 : "Britten's work" means that the author was Britten. The lyrics was written in 1504 and not music.

@scantpiper The original would have been sung in the 1500's !! Get your facts right. These are versions not originals.
