  • 200k in debt? More like 100-120k. You could rack up 200k if you are like some people who slack off with their flight training, and make it take months or years longer than it needs to.

P.S. ERAU doesn't offer type ratings. At least, the PRC campus, where this was filmed, doesn't.

  • go to flight-simulators dot info

  • The A320 is Pretty Cool... I work on one every day... Program/Fly etc... What company built this device?... Looks like an Old Thompson CSF Machine?.. Have Fun Guys...

  • All you ERAU hopefulls, don't go! You'll leave $200,000 in debt, and you don't need to pay for an A320 or CL-65 rating at ERAU (the airline that hires you will pay for your training).

Also, it isn't hard to get into ERAU . . . they have an 86% acceptance rate, and people who don't even take the SATs get in.

  • Cool video! Check out my videos when I fly a Level D 767. Regards Demokid

  • You have to worry about PIO with a sidestick assembly for landings/approaches. The A320s are well-known for the PIO issue. The A380 also has the PIO issue, as you all probably saw as it landed at LAX a couple of days ago. My advice for US Airline Companies - Stick with Boeing for the best planes in the world. The 787 is gonna be the most advanced, light weight, fuel conserving Boeing commercial plane ever!

  • COOL How much does it cost ?

  • Is it difficult to fly a airbus due to using the sidestick???

  • yea, i wonder too. i would prefer the stick infront of you.

  • Come to Sweden and fly a real simulator boeing 737-600 ng at SAS flight academy, Stockholm Arlanda. Cost 500 euro for 60 min.

  • hehe, retard reatrd retard retard. I wish I can get into ERAU

  • Cool , I would like to be there

  • B.S in Prof. Aeronautics from Embry.

  • Not sure if this is a question or a statement, but my degree (which requires this sim course) is Aeronautical Science and I specialized in the professional pilot track, which means I chose not to have a minor. Just thought I'd clairify, cause Professional Aeronautics is a completely different major. -Mike

  • A real nice aircraft to fly and very well designed in every aspect. My sessions have covinced me that it really is an A-aircraft.

  • heh, forgot the autobrake, didn't you?

  • Autobrakes have an auto arm function, so we just have to make sure they're set at the config we want them at, since there are several options for the autobrakes. Good question though. -Michael

  • Awesome Level D Sim... we only got the MD-80 Sim at Daytona.

  • thats cool man! how were able to get in there?

  • I just graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona. The sim course was a requirement of my BS degree. It was a blast!

  • awesome! i fly on microsoft flight simulator a lot, and its almost imposible for me to land in fog.

  • i wanna try one of those, those look cool

  • cool
