@louisekaille yes it was but T-Rex and Jeep weren't moving that fast in this scene 0:53. If you watch T-Rex's steps closely, it was only travelling at 10-15 mph. No way was it moving at 45 mph!
@supersmash43 the T-rex is bigger, and takes bigger steps. The jeep is going fast and the t-rex is chasing, the jeep has to push harder than the t-rex.

It was moving at around 15 mph in that scene. Since it was able to catch up to the jeep we can only assume the jeep at the time was only moving at that speed too. If T-Rex was actually moving at 45 mph its legs would be moving at an unrealistically fast pace like the Roadrunner from Warner Bros!
