Mr. Simon's playing is amazing and inspiring. Without a doubt he should been included in the series of Great Pianists of the 20th Century. I was at Indiana University when he was in residence there. His stunning performances, especially of Chopin, are legend. Many a day I have had my spirits uplifted by listening to his recordings of the Chopin Ballades and Waltzes among many other works.

Es muy grato encontrar aquí grabaciones de Abbey Simon. Fue un pianista muy querido porque visitaba Lima casi todos los años y nos deleitaba con maravillosos conciertos para piano de Chopin, Grieg, Beethoven y muchos otros.

Ojalá pudieran poner más grabaciones suyas.

@urrutiasanchezcarmen Desgraciadamente no tengo más grabaciones de Abbey Simon (sólo de los 4 scherzi que ya he puesto--mm, y tal vez la fantasía también... debo buscar el disco) pero si los encuentro, los pondré aquí :) ¡Me alegro que le gusten! Y favor de perdonar mis errores del español, siempre sigo aprendiendo más...
