I agree with you that Bob Sapp's heyday is long past, and even back in the day, he wasn't a great fighter. Same applies to Thompson. But this is just the beginning. Any incipient fighting organization has to start somewhere. Anyway swedish boy, one of the oldest martial arts in the world, the one that possibly gave birth to Kung-fu, is Kalaripayattu, which is a South Indian fighting system. It was made illegal during the British Raj, and so did not develop accordingly.
