Personnaly, I think that couples of gengar1993 are original but unlikaly and unconvincing (except, maybe, Tracey and Misty, because Misty is crazy about Ash but Tracey it's a great friend for her...)

Ash/Max => NO. Ash isn't gay and Max... I don't know but is so young.

Brock/May => So different (They aren't similar natures) + Brock is older than May (He want married with Pr.Ivy!)

In fact, it's not comments : it's lyrics translation in french, because I'm french (no spanish ^^) and I want that my youngs compatriot who like Pokemon Anime understand the lyrics of this song. (Unfortunately in France, so few people speak or understand English. Spite of my miss in english I try to translate this easy and beautiful song for my french-compatriots ^^.)
