i want all you people who liked kerim to type in shp277 at you tubeand you will hear his influence he had on me and beyond. i recently just heard of his death. he is now jamming with jimmie finally
i typed in his name on a google search for the hell of it and it came up. kim was the greatest musician i have erver known he could play anything and could sing his face off. i knew him in miami where i played with him at the castaways with another phenominal bassist greg bonaham i believe. anyone who played with him i would like for you to contact me through you tube. the guitar master
yes it is im am the producer of that LP Captain Nemo the Sundowners !
i played with kim and was on tour with him and was very close to him as a musician
we went our seperate ways at one point .. but i will always say that he was tops in the world thats right the world as a world class musician vocalist drummer .. amazing fun guy too he passed in 2004
I feel my self very lucky since I was there (nearly every session he did) when he played in Manhattan Bar/Ankara in 1994. He was an extraordinary musician in this world. Kerim will keep on playing and singing Crossroads in my memories.
Kerim Caplı was one of the finest musicians in the world.. Great drummer, fine singer, outstanding guitars keyboardist.. everything.. he rotted away in Turkey playing for people who did not understand or appreciate his fantastic talents.. he should have stayed in the states where the audience would have understood him more.
Can anyone translate for me whatever happened to Kerim Capli. We were very close and played together in New York back in the sixties.I don't read Turkish.
I have known Kerim quite well. he worked in my club for quite some time. If you would like to get some more info, please let me know. you can contact me on +905379610959
Is that Kerim singing? I used to play with him and have not heard from him in years.I don't read Turkish. He stayed with me in Los Angeles in 1970,that was the last6 I saw him.We played together 64-66 then he did the Monkees 1967?
He died tragically in 2004 due to complications in his brain - both physically and mentally. He was quite a character in the turkish live music scene, always well respected. Your name comes up everywhere he is mentioned. Check out the page his buddy from Blue Blues Band put together for Kerim. go to mojomusic dot org, and click on Kerim.
