Gilmore Girls. The saddest part

Is it sad that I own every single Gilmore Girls season and have rewatched just about each one of them at least five times? It's my go-to show any time I need comforting, a pick-me-up, or just a good-old standby. In my opinion, it's one of the best shows ever to grace the television.

I remember when one afternoon I was laying in bed (I was ill) and was watching the last couple of episodes of Gilmore Girls to pass the time! And when I got to the final and I was bawling my eyes out! That's when my mum came in and was like "What's wrong?!" Me: "Last episode of Gilmore Girls!" *wails*

God! This makes me cry my eyes out every time, almost even more so than Rory´s high school graduations speech; "Thank you Mom! You are my guidepost for everything!"

U just feel how much they gonna miss each other, and then I think about my own teenage daughter and her moving out in a couple of years, and then I really can´t stop crying,,,

And all of her exes has been jerks in one way or another, so may she could hook up with someone completly different, or if she will return to anyone I actually vote for Jess, since he had pulled himself together in the last season...

The marriage thing between Luke and Lorelai is implied in the last shot, but it would be nice to se it HAPPEN...

I guess so, but it might not have worked out between Luke and Lorelai, but I guess they did leave in indication that they both will be together. I hope Rory finds someone, that's why they need to make a sequel so we know what happens...

Jess was a good boyfriend, but he was so on/off, he kept dissapearing. When he came back after he dissapeared and sd 'i love you', I wouldnt blame Rory for the response she had.

Logans father was horrible, but Logan never liked him either. He stuck up for Rory and left his father. I like both Logan and Jess, she should of atleast got together with one of them.

It´s true that Logan was good to and for Rory sometimes, in the end especially, but I think she really needs a LUKE of her own, as do we all, =)

I guess I'm too young to give such advices but I think you should tell your mother how you feel and that you'll always be her child but you're also an adult who wants to be indepent. I have always loved the English language, and American English the most of course, =)

But I did have a period in my teens where I read some of the Great Poets in Britain, T.s Eliot, Edgar Allan Poe, Sir Walter Scott, and others.

I read through the whole story of Ivanhoe in Old English, an achievment which I´m immensly proud of to this day, =)

I just hope my skill in languages rubs of on my kids, all 4...

God, the whole episode makes me bawl my eyes out. Right after Rory said " you've given me everything I need" there should have been a hug. That's what was missing from the last episode. There was no hug between Lorelai and Rory. And that would have been the perfect moment.

@ggaddict1537 I think a hug would have been sweet, but at the same time Rory is grown and off on her own in this moment. I think a hug would symbolize her regretion and not her growth. Maybe not hugging is a symbol of moving on and growing up away from the people that protect you?
