What tears at your throat is the magnificient beautiful God touched melody VS the brutal war scenes shown in this movie that really are the best of what Viet Nam was REALLY all about - those bastard NVA's were the masters of torture. I lost 19 of my own OCS Classmates killed over in that terrible war - this movie and the melody still haunts me for those young men we lost as a Country forever...Capt Paul B, Helicopter UH-1B Huey Pilot..

The beautiful CAVATINA is so NOT by John Williams!! He is playing his version of it, but it was written by STANLEY MEYERS in 1970! I think too many people are led to believe Williams was the composer, and though his version is stunningly beautiful, Stanley Meyers name should be acknowledged on all this and the many other videos that make no mention of his name. No offense. Just facts. Thank you for posting this. I can never get tired of it!.
