When I saw the episode, I didn't even know it was Darren from Starkid and I WAS TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY BY IT. The performance! The episode!

To be honest, I was most floored that FOX had the BALLS to make the stereotypical homophobic jock have a crush on Kurt, because SO OFTEN THAT HAPPENS IN REAL LIFE AND NO MAJOR MEDIA SOURCE EVER TALKS ABOUT THAT ISSUE.

like you, alex, I also am not a glee fan, but as soon as I heard about darren criss, I had my calendar marked to tune in this week and of course, I was grinning as soon as he showed up. in fact I was on the phone w/ my mom but I recognized him and quickly told her I had to go and watch, lol. wow he was so cute looking at kurt with those eyes! and he has potential to stay on the show as a possible new bf for kurt--do we know if he's staying or if it was just a guest appearance for one episode?

I really enjoyed Darren's performance on Glee. While yes I am a big fangirl of him I mean it when I say this was one of the best episodes and I actually like glee. They brought up some issues that most shows are scared to cover and I like the courage. Darren is amazingly talented and I am glad that they didn't process his voice because yes his voice really sounds like that in real life. I can't wait for the next episode!

I absolutely loved Darren on Glee - it's the only episode I've seen that I actually enjoyed! I don't really think there was enough focus on the Kurt/Blaine storyline, what with the Beiste(?) story as well, but I'm glad we'll be seeing more of them in the upcoming episodes!
