PS2 has probably the worst menu screen ever. I thought they fixed it in the Slim BIOS somehow.

@MacBookPro1990 Removing the battery will wipe the RAM. Loading the bios itself for the first time in an Emu will also give you this.

I think you have to delete the "Your system Configeration" file.

@Lewilicious - no. This file is in a memory card. This screen still doesn't pop-up, despite simply disconnecting a memory card from the slot (isn't that simpler than removing a file from a MC?).

I think that this information is stored in the console's BIOS. BIOS must be reseted. And no, memory card has nothing to do, because BIOS has memory on its' own, completely independent of the memory card.

This takes me back to when Xbox 360 or PS3 complicated things.

A system that could play Ps1-2 Games, Cds,Dvds, and could even run linux would march throught the motherland like wild fire.
