@ermordetesherz I thought the Sarah Brightman "translated" version wasn't exactly a translation at all. It's very VERY loosely based from German to English. I like the meaning in Silbermond's version much better. Not to say Brightman's version isn't good, it's just...different. And actually, the album version of Silbermond's "Symphonie" is, in my opinion, better than the ones they have in their music videos. You should look for the album version.
