I love the Wasburn dime V so much I traded my Epiphone Les Paul Custom for one at a pawn shop. It wasn't economically the best trade, but as far as guitars go IT WAS!!!! the sound and action is far superior to my old les paul, plus I didn't know when I was gonna see one of those washburn V puppies again!
We have some smart people on this site! This is why I own 3 Washburn's,an A-20,James Malone bat's V and an HMWM526.I've owned Charvel,Dean,Ibanez,BC Rich,PRS,ESP and went back to Washburn.I had back in the early 90's an original A-20 black with red binding and a Chicago tour 24 the same color and learned the hard way Washburn rules.
Almost exactly even. I'd rather have the Washburn because their quality control standards are much higher than Jackson. Not to mention better materials, mahogany bodies, (most luthiers would agree that it's a superior wood,) carbon glass apoxy or phenolic fingerboards depending on model, Buzz Feiten tuning, set necks, great stock pickups, and original Floyd's. Washburn's are nearly perfect "right out of the box."
your playing on some sort of pedal, any guitar will sound the same on it. play on a tube amp to do a comparison
