Beautiful song, very talented man. He and his brother came to our church when he was just a small boy and played the piano and sang. Have been to local churches and heard him. I can't hear this song without crying. It is so true that none of us can walk - at least not in the right direction - without holding tightly to the hand of the Lord. Gordon literally needs guidance in his day to day life, which makes him even more aware of his need for God. I think that we often forget how dependent we are, and this song reminds me in a profound way. Thank you for posting this.

Gordon is the most brilliant pianist to come along in a long time. The fact that he is blind just amazes me. A lot of people in his shoes would probably give up, but he didn't. God bless him and his family. This song is so true. Last summer I lost the use of my legs. When our church bulletin came, I saw our pianist had played "I can't even walk without you holding my hand." I kept repeating it, and in a short while, I threw my walker away and praised God for healing me!
