i think the "child porn epidemic" is bs. I think its a media stunt that was exaggerated. If you have ever watched a comedian named Doug Stanhope, he explains how he has seen just about every porn there is and not one time in searching for porn has there been an add for child pornography. If I remember right, people were even more incoherent thanks to limited space to write your text (that's how "leet-speak" was born), it was the same with text-messaging. It used to be just quick blurps like "plz call bak" or "any1 d0wnl0ad tat new shar3ware gam3", and I remember magazines printing "guides" on how to write and understand it :)
