  • these women are amazing at what they do

  • oh my god thats amaizing

    every part of it

  • The women with the pots on there heads looked as if they wEre doing the samba.

  • @francescalawrence24 That's not the samba..... But if you do your research you will find that ALL Latin American dances have roots in Africa.

  • muy bueno que muestre en lado cultural de su pais , estamos casados de ver siempre lo que muetra la prensa el lado negativo .sus danzas son muy ricas y alegres

  • they make me smile

  • the second group was amazing to dance while keeping the objects balanced on their heads. amazing.

  • epic win!

  • @simbakafiri I don't care about you so leave me alone thank you

  • @simbakafiri COUNIAN MANMANW i don't care about you Ahahahaa

  • @Kayse2010 so agree with u cuz we African Americans is THEE BEST!!!

  • The few negative white people are nothing new. They are always suffering from some insecurities and want to be bitter and negative. I dont even know why they come to our videos at the first place if they "hate" it. The truth is inside they wish they could be like us. I would want to be if I was boring dull white. Rhyme is life and Africans have it.

  • Oh and for those who call whites evil or blacks evil guess what? We are ALL evil, the bible even says so. Whites will have some with greed and selfishness, and hypocrisy. Blacks will have some with violence, sometimes its the other way around. All humans develop negative character flaws. Which ones will develop depends on life circumstances.

  • I think african dance is great for those who feel its part of their culture, but as a show, its not entertaining for me. It looks like a bunch of notsogoodlooking people doing a simple indian dance that pretty much anyone can do. Its not very technical or difficult, which is what I like to see in a dance performance.

  • @kassandramd If you think anyone can do it why don't you upload a video of yourself doing the exact same dance moves.

  • wounderful zam my ppl

  • I'm as white as can be, but i love African rythems and dancing

  • BLACK POWER!

  • @kkreyolita,go back to your books and get the history properly,or maybe visit Zanzibar where they locked the slaves b4 setting offsea................................or where do you think Zanzibar is in

  • I LOVE THIS! IM IN THE USA, WHERE CAN I BUY THIS?

  • UHMM, I WAS TRYING TO COMPARE THE AFRO-PERUVIAN MUSIC SOMETHINGS ARE SIMILAR, SOME OTHER THINGS ARE NOT, I WAS CURIOS ABOUT THE INFLUENCE OF THE AFRICAN PEOPLE ON PERU SICE I AM PART AFRICAN, AND INCREDIBLE HOW CAN YOU FEEL SOMETHING IN YOUR BLOOD, I DON'T KNOW HOW TO EXPLAIN IT BUT IS LIKE THE MUSIC CALLS YOUR BLODD

  • @signustt

Black slaves so "our" ancestors came from WEST or CENTRAL Africa (Congo, Bénin, Sénégal...) not south and east africa in general.

They don't have the same music it's nice but i don't feel the connection

  • @kkreyolita who cares what you feel or think...East Africa is the place to be...oh and South

  • @signustt you are soooo right!!!!!

  • they have rhythm in the skin! awesome!

  • @SerjicalStrike0810 where youh from?

  • wow!!!

  • burnt african zulu

  • the costumes at 2:00 are GORGEOUS!

  • does the movie Africa United have anything to do with this? Because the story line are more or less the same save for the country of origin (Rwanda and not Zimbabwe)

  • @cutefifsta This musical debuted in 2009, Africa United was out in 2010 - so i doubt it

  • @frobellette well that could mean that Africa United was based on this musical then no? so there could be a connection :p

  • Very good coordination. These people have the rhythm in the body. I wish I could dance like that ...

    A greeting. Maria Mendoza

  • I like this dance, although i think it is very difficult.

Is curious to see how the women keep a basket on her head while they are dancing. Also i think that dance is so much fun. We can try to dance it in the next class.

    Best Regards, Jose Jaldon.

    Pat

  • I saw this show in toronto it was great,, would like to know if you're ever coming back to toronto.

  • I thought the ZULU girls in the middle of the video brought so much energy, color and wow factor.......they KILLED it!!! Zulu warriors, real Africans, respect from East Africa.

  • I'm a Somali and I want a ZULU girl!! baby show me how you move and kick, touch that floor! in America even African American girls touch the floor when they dancing coz its from their african ancestors and they are not even aware of it. It means something in Africa, we do it when we are ending something "its our FULL STOP/PERIOD"...then u reset the rhyme or completely end it.

In Africa we have big dance competitions and this is where the idea of street dance came from. Each village vs others

  • Im an African and proud. We got the rhymes and the desire to always do things in style in our genes. If your black and from Brazil, Cribeans or USA of course you have it in you. U were an African stolen from us. It was you that took our Samba to Brazil and beyond, our rap, jazz, drums to USA and other lands.

Dance is in African blood and the music came from Africa. We dance from the moment we can walk. Its culture, its way of life, its genes, its who we are.

I thought the Zulus killed it!

  • putain elles dansent avec des calebasses sur la tête sans les faire tomber (respect)
